"bandaid fixes, non nerfs, excessive buffs, ignore the flashy" the last few years in a nutshell

yet we're at the point in the year where they can fix all this, fix a vast majority of the current problems with the game like damage creep. but they choose not to, that is not hyperbole. i had literally asked one of the bigger rioters thats involved with this about it and he told me

"This year's preseason is intentionally a lot smaller than years past. After all the disruption from last year, we opted instead to focus more on improving the parts of League that people enjoy as opposed to too drastically shaking the foundations." (im not going to say who the rioter was so some nutjobs dont go out and spam them or whatever)

which at its core makes some sense. however with the game how it is we actually do need reverts to "shake the foundations" considering the new foundation they built was just a bunch of bandaids thrown onto the old shattered one that they shattered with a sledge hammer.
