Why gold players and below shouldn't even take teleport top lane

You're never gonna use it right. You're gonna use it when the fight starts, or after its already started, and you're gonna end up TPing into a 1v5 and just die.

Or you're gonna burn your flash in a bad trade, recall, and TP back to lane just so the jungler can send you right back to your fountain because you TP'd back to lane with no flash, and that's just free.

Just don't even take the summoner spell. It just gives you an excuse to do the silver split push all game long. You know -- when the top laner just rams their face into one lane over and over again all game long, win lose or draw? The silver split push.

"I'll TP in guys, I'm gonna split"

And so we get stuck 4v5ing the whole game (or worse, if our ADC is one of those that's just magnetically attracted to CS all game long and never groups)

All because you watched one too many LCS games or pro streamers who actually know what they're doing split push, so now you think your 20 IQ ass can do it too.

Just take ignite. Go for the kills, go for the 1v1. You couldn't TP into a fight correctly if Smeb himself was piloting your keyboard.
