Can we make it so cinderhulk doesn't automatically aggro jungle monsters?

This has been bothering me for a long time. Tanks are garbage in general, but they have one other weakness everyone always forgets. You can't even walk through your jungle without aggroing something, and it's f*cking stupid. What, you wanted to clear wards in the dragon pit? Too bad, if you go anywhere near it with a tank jungler you aggro it (whether you want to or not). And you better pray it's not an ocean drake, cuz if it is you'll also get cc'd and become an easy kill if the enemy team is nearby. Being chased through the jungle and need to escape? Don't even think about using that blast cone, cuz the monsters will just help the enemy secure the kill.

TLDR cinderhulk shouldn't automatically aggro a monster just because I walked near it. You should actually have to attack it in order to aggro it. To make it fair, you can make it so cinderhulk only damages monsters AFTER you've attacked them.

Im pretty sure this is already in place, just not well, (where only while youre "in combat" you aggro monsters).

The biggest issue for me is that the game places you "in combat" whenever you auto. So when you auto the blast cone, to hop over the drag/baron pit, youre placed "in combat" and hence cinderhulk aggros drag/baron.

AHHHH that makes a lot more sense. Lol its the worst when your team is fighting in topside river and your like lemme come help blast cone over and baron says OH HI and starts giving you slaps.

Which is extra dumb when you realize hitting plants doesn't deactivate mobi boots, which have the exact same "in combat" restriction.

Same with trying to auto a tower for demolish while enemy is near you

Time to put a toggle on cinder items?

Cinderhulk itself doesn't automatically draw aggro. Bami's Cinder on the other hand, the item that builds into Cinderhulk, DOES draw aggro. Either way, I'd say this is a good change request.

Oh you're right, my mistake. They both have the same passive though, so I don't understand why one automatically does and the other does not. Anyways, I think what Z3Sleepier suggested is the best solution. Add a toggle to the items.

Probably because if you're spending time near them while you still have Bami's, you want it to proc as fast as possible. Nobody just sits on Bami's, they upgrade it into Sunfire or Cinderhulk ASAP. If you have Bami's you're clearly still farming, when generally you want to kill things fast.

Still kinda dumb, but there is a logic to it. Unless Riot just forgot to change Bami's as well.

Also, Riot's stated they're against toggles on items. Idr why, but they just dislike them.

So TRUE!! Often on my way to Crab this fucking chickens hunt me for ages and eat 30% of my HP! Man I get so aggro every time this happens!!

It already does. Unless you're actively in combat, it won't.

I feel like this is rarely an issue. If anything, the extra damage proc or 2 on every monster and enemy (most often) will offset the occasional unwanted aggro. Especially on champions that tend to get tanky follow-style kills with only enough mobility to follow, like an Amumu pleading for a crying kill.

The issue for me is that tanking can't be done easily anymore. The whole spirit behind Bami's Cinder is aggro everything around (towers included, which wasn't listed as an issue, somehow), and actually tank the enemy damage so that others don't have to. I feel like Bami's Cinder is doing its job right, and the issue is that A. tanks don't tank well anymore and B. water drake actually holds (I miss vanilla drake). Also, why can anybody sneak around a friggin' dragon?

Toggle cinderhulk 2019

That would be kinda cool, to see Bami's Cinder, Cinderhulk, or Sunfire Cape activate upon entering combat.

That's probably the only time it's ever useful to begin with since you normally buy it for partial offensive capabilities (outside of the bonus health of course).

Although it would allow players to freeze lanes if they are taking up a lane role when an item like that was designed combatitively to push.

forget about aggroing monsters, aggroing towers is bull shit considering demolish is a rune. tank players are punished for buying their jg item because they can no longer take tower plating without risk of dying. like whoops, I took agro, now im stunned, now I'm at 200 hp, now I'm dead.
