Top/jungle are aggressively auto-filled in almost all of my ranked games

By 'aggressively,' I mean that the system chooses to auto-fill someone after 1-2 minutes in queue, and it's always these two roles. In one instance, I was even auto-filled to top three games in a row (the first two were dodges), and I didn't spend longer than a minute in queue before it filled me. Almost all of my games since then have had at least one player in the game auto-filled.

It isn't surprising that it's these roles that are auto-filled, because both are extremely unrewarding, but the system should not be so quick to fill a role, especially in ranked. I would rather wait 5 minutes in queue to get a decent game, than 1-2 minutes and get a one sided stomp because some lane has a Silver-level player against a Diamond-level player.

If we wanted to get into matches quickly with no concern for quality, we would be playing normal, not ranked. This really needs to be improved and someone needs to take responsibility for how fucked up this system is.

No one wants to play top because the lane is pure cancer: Jax Irelia Darius Urgot Gnar Tryndamere - do you see the pattern here? No one wants to play against this shit.

No one wants to play jungle because you have 3 lanes that are inting and getting solo-killed and it's suddenly your fault when you should be hard-carrying to make up for their feed. Yasuo gives away first blood and starts pinging you and asking why you weren't camping his lane.

Auto-fill has been broken since launch. You queue up - get your role - someone on enemy team dodges - you instantly get back in with the same team only to find that your entire team is now auto-filled and you have to talk it out to sort roles. Auto-fill should just be a toggle. I'd rather wait 10 minutes than get into an auto-fill game that is a sure loss. Match quality has been piss poor since auto-fill was implemented. Beyond me why it's still there.

I used to love top lane when we all fought in harmony where balance was in the skill. Until one day when the Juggernaut nation attacked, when top lane mains were needed most they vanished.

Jungle - Deal with the other 4 monkeys yelling at you/blaming you for not helping

Top - Irelia Sion Urgot Aatrox Darius Need I say more?

Mid - Leblanc Ahri Fizz Kassadin Need I say more?

ADC - Kaisa MissFortune Lucian Why Riot, why. Even before the ADC Rework, the lane was more diverse.

Support - Somebody save this role from it's suffering.

Half of the top 20 in challenger are fking jungle mains, the role is about as strong as it has ever been, meta junglers are literally free elo and the role is broken.

Jungle is heavily reliant on your team mates and the match up, making it bad for solo queue when you can't rely on your entire team.

All early jungle match ups are binary and have no skill component; you either win or lose a fight with the enemy jungle. If they invade you, you have to rely on your team to collapse or you fall severely behind, and you also need to rely on them to help maintain control of your jungle.

Alternatively, all of your lanes are losing before you've even gotten your second buff, reducing your impact over the game to zero.

i would rather they finally reduced bot lanes impact on the game.

jungle and mid only have game agency by proxy, because they can influence who wins bot lane with roams or ganks.

or buff tp again to early season 7 state, so top can at least be part of these dumbass clusterfucks down there, if they dont want to get rid of them. either fix bot lane, or allow us to 5 man dive, instead of watching how our team is 4 man diving their adc (or their team is diving ours) at 6 minutes.

Top lane as a role is horrendously cancer. Like majority of top laners are either uninteractive or cheese picks Darius Gnar Tryndamere Darius Jax Garen Urgot Ornn Aatrox Quinn Teemo DrMundo Singed Fiora Poppy Riven Yasuo Sion

Like you can put me against an Ornn with his current winrate and I'll still want to uninstall mid way through the match. Look at hashashin, look what top lane has done to him.

Pick a single fucking champion you enjoy or don't mind playing against in that role. Think real hard.

As for jungle, well the role is hard. Some people are born to be laners so they can play the three lanes a little better, some are born to be junglers which is an entirely different learning curve from the normal formula, and even then the jungle is constantly changing for worse so a lot of players aren't appealed by it. In my case, I mainly only play jungle because I have for so long that idk how to even lane (diamond player that can't CS omegalul) and majority of champs I even enjoy are in the role. If you can play both, most players will probably just prefer mid since its basically an easier jungle if you win the lane.

EDIT: edit #7 as I think of more champs I hate to play against in top lane.

That doesn't mean the jungle role is weak , actually it's a strong role , but in low elo , you gank or not , your team will blame you ,it's almost a meme

Almost? Every game i play a jungler that can't gank pre 6 (Rengar i get flamed hard for not ganking the lane and all my lanes get solo killed at least twice. A meme by my standards.

Well , yeah but , as Rengar , Mid lane is kind of gankable imo , or the only gankable lane but it's worth giving it a try

Sounds to me like you should start learning to jungle or top. You'd be Challenger in no time since you'd be competing with a bunch of auto-fills.

big fucking surprise.

turret first blood is still a thing, no fortification on bot lane is still a thing. the strongest marksmen are still scaling too fast.

if you intentionally make that fucking lane the only one that counts, then people dont want to play a role that has almost no influence on the game. top is the least picked role since they added fucking turret first blood 2 years ago.

I used to play a lot more league, when I came back to it today I got auto filled to jungle 5 times in a row after 2 minutes in queue max, dodged all of them Would rather go back to season 8 when I did queue reset and had to wait a hour to get my role then to play the game as it is
