I remember last season (or maybe a few seasons ago?) Nautilus top was somewhat common. Then he had some success in LCS and Riot nerfed him into the ground. Now the only time I ever see Nautilus is occasionally as a support. If other tanks are allowed to be viable top, why can't Nautilus be allowed to be viable too? Please buff Nautilus a bit. Evíl cookíe2 votesHe got an indirect small buff recently (cheaper sunfire cape). But he needs more to get viable top. More mana regen/base mana and/or less mana costs early on could be an option to help him and not making him busted and annoying to lane against.

Give this a shot:
Take smite/ignite (idc what your team mates say): This will allow you to fight for crabs and kill invaders (the only one who beats you is kha). Your Q becomes your flash (hitting terrain) especially with its reset. Based on gold, get mobility boots-blue smite-bamis then cinderhulk. Second item visage/glory/frozen heart (need that CDR)
Standard tank page (aftershock, shield bash, bone plate, shield boost) then precision with alacrity+coup de grace
Start red buff side (clear that side, leveling W-E-Q, check crab, look to gank move onto blue buff side). Don't focus one lane, just keep cycling through them, taking camps along the way. Top-mid-bot-mid-top and repeat.
Best of luck, I haven't taken it out of gold (couldn't be bothered to be frank, it'd take twice as long as doing it with a mid lane carry). But get good enough with it, and people will be shocked at how strong you can be
