She's just really good in this meta.

Assassins and AD Burst are what everyone plays. She's a highly safe utility. She's not OP, she's just really favorable in this current meta.

You didn't play against a good Lux.

Malz vs Lux is a skill match up. Each one does the same job differently.

If Malz is able to land his all-in, he wins, if Lux manages to get her snare he loses.

It's a counter because Lux CAN'T farm under tower without using a key component in her all-in kit. Malz's kit innately pushes lane, so she's forced under tower to last hit with crappy AD values or use her high cost early E just to get the passive proc.

He -IS- a counter, it's a skillmatchup. If Malz is better, Malz wins. If Lux is better, she wins.

Not only that Malz can put pressure onto other lanes. His ability to push any mid laner to their tower with E and Q is rather strong. After 6, he can push Lux to tower, roam and secure kills with his suppression. Lux can do that too, but you know. Malz can hard shove the lane to tower and then take the tower because Q + E + Voidlings will decimate any minion wave / Tower.

I usually ban her if I get the opportunity. A skilled Lux is a nightmare to engage, even for high mobility assassins. She is extremely safe and according to some websites has both a high win rate and is a popular pick. Late game her ult has an extremely low cooldown. If nothing else, I would just like to see the cooldown time of her ult increased.

she does a lot of damage and shes pretty safe with a lot of utility. pretty much all you can ask for. i don't like getting hit with all of her skillshots from fog of war

I've always had issues with how low risk/high reward she is and I've always gotten downvotes (and super disagreement) whenever I expressed it.

People have been bitching about her for a while now, and rightly so. I personally can't deal with her E in lane at all.

In lane is where I think she's the easiest to deal with. It's after laning phase that she's going to be useful to her team no matter what as long as she can land at least something. If the player is actually good and she can land most skills than it's most likely GG. She's very hard to shut down due to all the utility she provides.

A lot of people suggest picking low utility assassins into her, but that's really the worst thing you could do. This is because Lux doesn't have to snowball to be useful late game while most assassins do. She's one of the best champions in the game for punishing mistakes too.

Lux is not OP. Her E needs to either do less damage, have the diameter of it's cast range lowered, or have a higher cooldown and her ult should have a higher cooldown(since the CD on it is very low late).

Yes, she is a safe, strong pick, which can be annoying. No- she is annoying. But for the love of God, she is not OP.

She just needs a slight utility nerf which I stated, nerfing her harder will just gut her after that or riot will have to end up compensating her due to overnerfing, so again Q range and ulti are fine.

yawn Same kit as always. Fotm. Now op apparently due to itemization for adc's. She's one of the best in Aram but I've lost with her before and I'm really good with her there. Do I think she's broken and needs nerf. No.
