LoL should make an option where you can decide to "auto-update" the game so you don't have to log in and wait for the update. It essentially, auto-updates without having to start up the client. I mean every time I log in, I am pumped up to already want to jump into a game, and I really don't want to wait for the patch update to start.

Diadaren1 votesI agree. There should be a service that checks the patch # and (if there's an update) opens the client (hidden) in the background to update the game. After that the background process should close until the next time it is run. In my opinion the service should check at a configurable time daily or on the next boot of the computer, whichever comes first. (also if this is implemented, may I ask that there be a way to throttle the download speed, sometimes i need to do important things and the updates sometimes cause serious loading-lag on webpages)
