I think you'd hard-pressed to reasonably build more than 300 bonus AD now. While 750+ AP is still in the realm of possibility, especially with the buff to Rod of Ages (+20 AP).
Crett3 votes20% of 750 = 150 50% of 300 = 150 it's pretty equal imo, most adcs get a lot less bonus ad than that
