@Riot, Can we please get word on Quinn?

I have legit been stalking Meddler's posts and posting in hopes of getting some kind of answer and I am just getting annoyed at this point.

For context, a couple of weeks ago (maybe a month or two) there was some Quinn changes posted onto the Quinn subreddit. These changes were interesting and I wanted to see how they would work in game (the actual descriptions we got was a little weird). All I want to know is if Quinn is up for changes or if those changes are bearing any fruit.

That champion is actual trash design wise at the moment as she struggles to be a Assassin, Duelist, Skirmisher, Diver, Marksman that can go Top, Jungle, Mid or Bot but is bad at every one of those positions and just basically a weaker version of Talon Riven Fiora.

Please I just want to know what is going on with Quinn :/

You say Quinn is weaker than Riven/Fiora but she has better (safer) waveclear, the potential to outduel (skill matchup), safer laning against bullies, and much better roaming as well as a great kiter. There are little duels Quinn cannot win with the correct build and strategy, namely assassins will generally fuck her up, like Talon.

Quinn is a great skirmisher.

She fails off hard however and her identity crisis is a large problem as to why no one is picking her other than when assassin items are good. In most cases the champions I listed can do what she does early, but are also able to carry that over the board and have a far greater impact. Once people group, all Quinn can do is buy Crit and hope to catch people out or waste their time.

No, she can use her high mobility combined with a Stattikk Shiv to push multiple lanes and apply pressure all around the map. Or she can splitpush and either duel or escape whoever goes to deal with her, then rejoin her team for a 5v4. She can flank very effectively and burst carries, or she can stay behind her Frontline and deal DPS

Disagree with you there. If she needs to rush Crit and stay behind people to be useful, but has to go top or mid to do it, then she isn't very good. Especially when most laners can abuse her and your jungle will have the easiest game in the world since ganking her is yasuo levels of easy.

If she needs to be tryn just to function then i'd safely say, Quinn isn't good. You lose post 20 if you haven't already won half the map.

Since when could laners abuse Quinn? Top mains have been complaining since her release of being bullied by ranged champions like Quinn, she is in NO WAY a weak laner. Hell, for a long time, she was strongest during laning and fell off as the game progressed. She's not easy to gank either. W means she doesn't need to facecheck every 50 seconds or so, which can be useful. She's not too hard to gank, but she does have easy access to 40% movespeed, not to mention if you jump on her, she can kickflip herself 500 units away if you don't lock her down quick enough. Not only that, her E can also interrupt many dashes. She can probably land an easy Q on her laner (or you) because they're gonna be heading for her in a straight line, disrupt their ability to help out by a ton.

Also, Quinn doesn't need to rush crit to stay useful. Bork Cleaver makes Quinn one of the strongest 2 item duelists in the game, along with durability and a decent amount of burst (full combo will take ~70% of a squishies health). Going for crit afterwards is not tough, as gold income is higher later on in the game, and while IE is necessary for the INSANE ADC lategame, Bork + Cleaver + PD has very good DPS and is very tough to kill, not to mention exceptionally slippery with all that extra movespeed.

She doesn't need crit (Zeal item + IE) to be 'useful'. She has the option of getting it in order to be 'ADC levels of lategame'. Stattikk Shiv rush hardly counts as rushing crit, as IE will not be the second or maybe even third item. Stattikk rush is usually followed up by Lethality to amplify her roaming and ganking potential, meaning burst as mid and bot are fairly squishy lanes.

She doesn't need to flank either, crit builds do a ton of damage and while she's not as good as a normal ADC she still pumps out high damage from range. Flanking is also very easy, due to Youmuu's, her ult, and Zeal items giving a ton of mobility that can go around terrain very easily.

She is plenty useful after 20 without winning half the map, in fact I pretty much farm till 20 against most tank matchups. Maybe the Lethality ganking build falls off, but the ADC or skirmisher/duelist builds just start to spike at that point. 20 minutes is when you become a threat to tank, when you're a tanky, bursty, high DPS, and incredibly mobile champion who can probably run facefirst into any lane and start wrecking ass.

I'm surprised Riot hasn't given Quinn %hp damage by now. That seems to be the lazy band-aid they throw on every other champion these days. She wouldn't be any safer for it, but her damage would be much more consistent from start to finish.

I don't think Quinn's a topic of discussion right now at Riot. I do wish they'd talk about her more though, just so we could get a sense for what direction they'd like to take her in. Seeing Urgot's journey from a weird Marksman/Artillery/Tank hybrid to League's very own ranged Juggernaut makes me wonder what cool niche they could carve out for Quinn given the right set of changes. Like Urgot, she was released as a Marksman but conceived as a different class/fantasy altogether, only to be lumped into the "Unique Playstyles" category until her rework. IMO Assassin would fit her most -- she was never really a "true" Marksman, and Assassin fits her fantasy better anyway.

Completely agree with that. She is just suffering from that 'urgot' syndrome and she needs to find a niche for herself. I keep poking Riot in hopes of hearing about whatever they may have for her.
