I wait for the day Miss Fortune gets an update

Miss Fortune is a badass. Probably one of the coolest characters in League along with most of Bilgewater. She is so freaking cool and yet she is a walking sex doll in game. And her gameplay doesn't even begin to hit the highs of Miss Fortune as a character. I would love to see Riot tackle her next year and make her a tooth and nail Marksman that is as badass and fearsome as all the lore makes her be.

Give Miss Fortune some love Riot like you did with Gangplank!

She just GOT her VU and if anything this version of her in the comic is horrible and neutered. I hope and pray that she gets to bring back her old swagger and levity. Her being a sex doll is intrinsic to her character as well, so I'm pretty disturbed that you think it needs to be excised. A woman can be flirty, fierce, ruthless, and have a dark streak while also having big boobs and flaunting them.

What she got was a more of a texture update. Riot counts it as a VU but it isn't Twitch or Karthus, a true Visual Update. I don't care that MF is sexy. What I care about is in the current MF in game, that's all I get. Then I look at MF in the lore and stories and all I see if a mother fucking badass that takes no shit from anyone. There isn't any character in MF's model, voice lines, etc. She also needs a kit update because her kit doesn't really show what makes MF interesting.

When you compare Lore MF to in game MF, the two are like Apples to Oranges. They are roughly the same in shape and size but at the core are completely different. That's why I want an update for her. It's similar to why Morde mains want an update. Their lore character is fucking amazing but the in game doesn't represent that same level of fantasy.

No, that was what Visual Updates were supposed to be- a better model with higher visual fidelity that preserved her original design. I'm not even making things up- go search for "Miss Fortune Visual Update" and you'll find that she already got one extremely recently. As for the rest of your issues with her, that's just you asserting that your taste is more important than mine, and that's just not a relevant, good faith argument. I agree that her new lore doesn't match her in game character at all- because the lore team isn't respecting her character. What you like about her isn't Miss Fortune. It's some other character with her name. Lastly, it's kind of disturbing that you think a character can't be badass or take no one's shit without being flirty or sexy. This is doubly concerning to me because she already does take absolutely no one's shit and is a complete badass. What does she gain by making her a dour edgelord?

I could have written the same reply tbh, I'm annoyed at all those people who want to strip all her glamour and sass away to turn her into some one dimensional angry mobster, we already have Katarina for that, tyvm, it's called character depth, a person can be more than one emotion or personality trait ffs, Miss Fortune is badass AND sexy/sassy/playful, maybe her current vo doesn't emphasize the badass aspect enough, I'd argue she reeks of confidence and alpha female attitude one mile away but let's just say it's still not enough, then sure more lines wouldn't be a bad addition, but let's not go overboard and be right back to square 1 or worse by deleting her current vo, her character could be richer, not poorer. More lines, not as many but different, or less, more.

Never said I want to remove the sex/sass/etc. The problem is right now that's all I get from her in game. I get nothing else and that harms the character just as much as removing it. Both need to exist.

Did I ever say I want to remove that in game sexy/flitry MF? No, not once. I think that's core to the character and also a reason why people like her. What I want is for her to have more. She is a 1 note character in the game when you could have a much more dynamic character that in the lore is really enjoyable. In game, all I get is her sex-appeal. I want more.

To be fair, her in-game personality is pretty bare. But I agree, I do like how she is in-game. I like the confident, sexy woman that she is right now. There's nothing wrong with that personality and it's troubling that there are people who seem to thing there is.

If they were to give her a voice update, I'd rather they do an updated version of that and maybe give Captain Fortune in specific the more serious badass personality we see in the comic and such. Like how Captain Gangplank has seperate VO from the other skins.

I think some of it does need an update. A minor one to better bring out what makes her awesome. Visually she doesn't need much either. Really she only needs a minor scale of work compared to a full update. Think something like Rek'sai levels of gameplay with some more voice overs and a much cleaner model/animation work overall.

Her sex appeal IS part of what makes Miss Fortune , Miss Fortune. She uses it in lore to amass a crew and and help her get closer to targets. I think she needs some new animation and 100% needs a new VO. I love MissFortune even more so after her lore update. She's just lacking a few things here and there.

I think she can be sexy, for sure. The problem as I've shared above is that's all she is in game at the moment. Leaves a lot to be desired when you look at her in lore and how she is 100% a badass.

As an older champ, she has very few lines, but I have a huge problem with this in concept because her (so far unnamed) voice actress is simply amazing. I would marry that woman simply for her voice, and given Riot's track record for replacing the original voice actors when they do updates, and the fact that who voiced her was never disclosed, I know they won't get the same person.

I'm still trying to get over Eve's new voice. :(

I swear, if they ever change Miss Fortune's voice actress, I'll delete this game so hard, I'll get a lobotomy to forget League of Legends even exists.

Wow. I thought I was the only one that felt this way. I love her current VA, and wish she would come back to add more to MF's already-amazing character.

I also wish she'd tell us who she is. :(

Her gameplay and visuals are awesome, nothing to change there.

What she needs is a Legendary skin. That way Riot can hire a voice actor for voiceovers for both classic classic and the Legendary skin.

She legit needs an update though. Design wise she is rather 2D in design. She doesn't really have a whole lot of character and her visual design just feels lackluster. Her kit is also completely defined by just her ultimate and while it's a cool ult, it's all MF really is in game. Where in lore she is basically in the thick of it and goes toe to toe with others.

Her ultimate is extremely powerful. With the lethality build and cleaver, I can nearly 100-0 every person on their team if my ultimate is uninterrupted. You might be building her wrong. I don't typically buy attack speed items since her W covers her attack speed. She has the lowest base ad scaling out of all adcs so I like to pack more damage in her kit. Black cleaver is a really good buy on her.

Try the two build paths.

Lethality Youmuus ghostblade, duskblade, black cleaver are the vital items. Edge of night and mortal/lord dominiks work great too.

Critical Essence Reaver and infinity edge the two items you want first. I typically go cleaver or last whisper next. If you want an attack speed item, Rapidfire Cannon and Static Shiv are good choices.

Thought I'd voice my opinion for you since you just started recently playing her. She's my favorite champion by far.

MF was my first main. I honestly skip over essence reaver in favor of IE into RFC, followed by DD and lucidity boots with clever. Last item based on the needs of the composition. I usually end up going PD for crits for days, but you could do anything. If the team is squishy, I'll forego Black Cleaver for Edge of Night.

I don't play her like a chicken in the back to just ult i go all in!!! but on that spirit she has been reworked twice already from what i recall? and she's still very playable atm, there's some champions out there really struggling and considering how little reworks are done each year i hope she's not even being considered atm. I for sure do not want another Ryze rework either, they can just remove his stupid click snare.
