Would you want to see more items shifted to % base AD?

be a great way to dissuade assassins/ADCs from picking up bruiser/jugg items

They'd have to standardize Spellblade first and maybe make base Attack Damage 'tiers', but yeah it would be great.

I dont see why. Most bruisers get 300AD, most fighters dont care.
Remember, fighters are AD/hp, bruisers are HP/ad. If black cleaver were 25% increased base attack damage instead of raw AD, that would be cool. I mean, 154 base AD is only 77 from 50%. thats 241 total "base AD".
Now, making that base AD ACTUAL base AD and not bonus AD that also counts as base AD would make this balanced.
base AD items like Sterak's raise your sheen damage, is what they're saying
i.e you can build Triforce and then stack multiple sterak's and your sheen procs will hit ridiculously hard; having more than one item that contributes to that sort of sheen damage might make it an issue if sheen isn't adjusted or standardized

I mean, i guess? I dont think it would matter though, considering base AD rises over the course of the game and if youre level 18 when everyone else is level 11 theres more than one problem going on and youd be exploding people regardless.
What I mean is something like
say
became items that only give you base AD to enforce it on juggernauts, just hypothetically.
but then these items are still really good on any
user, because now they'll be able to build
for really strong Sheen procs (keep in mind; Triforce will double any base AD you get with the sheen proc; Sterak's AD bonus also doubles when the shield activates) so it'll actually be doing a LOT more damage and might make champions like
extremely annoying, even if they can't translate the base AD into useful damage outside of the Sheen synergy
Not really... Maybe so I could build Illa up to 1,000 damage Trin procs...
