Have you tried not getting hit by his E? If he E's on you and he is AP, he has no escape (other than flash) and therefore is an easy target (AP means he'd be squishy as opposed to tank)

If it's a top AP Zac though....

If it's top any melee champ top should be tanky cough Riven cough and should therefore take no D from Zac. ( ͡° ʖ ͡°)

There are several viable ranged top laners also. Karthus, Ryze, Teemo, etc. So bottom line, play smarter. He's not "Cancer"
