Proof that supports are useless without a good team.

Remember when I said I would never support a feeding team ever again? I lied and eventually took this role again just to prove how useless it was.

After losing to a smurf that mained Draven with a surprising 95% win rate(18 wins and one loss). He suggested we should duo. After the game started, we ran into 2 issues, our Gallo forgot smite while GamorrahReborn the diamond 2 smurf(He told me in the middle of the game) couldn't play Kalista well enough to carry 4 feeders(the enemy team had Draven banned).

Despite keeping him alive as long as I could, our team eventually lost. So in theory, even if I supported a diamond player to the best of my ability, you still can't carry most games playing support to get a well rounded win-rate.

I saw the q first and thought, ok poke heavy fair enough. Then i saw the next point on the w was 14, and my brain broke, so i had to get a new hamster.

Maybe you're just a bad support? You probably intentionally botched it a bit, then when you tell this story you're overemphasizing certain details. You have a very clear bias. I've stopped taking your posts seriously.

There is no detail I missed, the guy even said I was doing alright and took some blame on himself. When everyone is feeding, it's impossible to keep the support alive.

Time to be blunt. You warded twice (no sightstone), you maxxed W last on Soraka, you rushed Zeke's on Soraka, and frankly, you and Kalista both had 11 deaths in 29 minutes, which is about 3 deaths short of inting.

The truth is that any role is useless if the other 4 are doing horribly. Claiming that it only applies to one role is biased and fallacious.

If the support could do more for the ADC, the game might have been a win, but right now, supports are just too useless!

They are not useless dude. They aren't going to solo carry the game, but they are important.

This made me lol. @Op that's not need rn bc support items are becoming more specialized. We're starting to see items made for specific types of supports. That means that soon supports will be stronger when building items to compliment their play style.

Your friend wasn't diamond 2, he was most likely just trash.

As for not being able to carry as support, I went from bronze to diamond playing only thresh with a 75% ish winrate in around 100 games.

He had a 95% win rate with Draven, that's definitely diamond, or at-least gold to platinum!

P.S. That isn't proof. But I will follow your logic. Proof that Yasuo is heavily underpowered and needs a buff that lets him instantly get a pentakill and win upon pressing Q: a Yasuo fed in one of my games. I tried so hard to help him. Didn't work. So by my theory, if Mastery 7 Yasuo fed, then he's underpowered. Soooooo much proof here.

By your own account, they "couldn't play Kalista well enough to carry 4 feeders". Doesn't that say that an ADC is useless without a good team?

When you duo, you both have to be hot shots to win.

Imo you probably didn't pick a support with a big game changing ult. (Dravens ult sucks)

I agree. Bot just can't carry some games depending on the champs

Sure I'm not the best and sometime I fed mid to late game. (trying to make plays and save adc)

But it seems like we will be winning bot. Then one of two things will happen. The 3,4,5 man ganks bot come everything time adc and support in lane. Or top mid and jungle all losing and everyone camps bot.

It like there jungle can gank us 5 or 6 times in the first 15 mins and we never see our jungle. No ones tries for objectives but us. Its starting to getting frustrating. how can you stop a 11/0 Noc. Once he shield there is no saving the adc he is dead in 2 attacks. Same for riven. There bot is like 0/5 and 0/3 going into mid/lane game.

I know I have to work on my mid to late game but why do I ALWAYS get people that don't know how to play the game to win. Jungles not supporting lanes and what not. Top not using their TP to follow their top. Doesn't push if they don't tp just going back to buy....

some games we carry the other three some games we don't. I fill like we only get "help" 5% of the time. the other times its we have to carry the team and I don't understand why. Can we not get EQUAL teammates.

These are from a gold 3 games. Feels like bronze 4/5
