Keep in mind I play Top primary, Jungle secondary.
I also feel like the jungle is pretty unsatisfying this season, even with how absurdly overpowered it is at the moment.
Is it just me, or is this the cause and effect?

However, its extremely boring so far this season. You just farm, try to force something, farm, try to force something. Its extremely binary.
Taizuki1 votesPlay a heavy ganker, it makes it alot more fun. Your job is all about making sure your lanes do well and that you take objectives. Its much more strategic then any lane is. That's where the fun lies. You see their jungler ganking top, their bot lane recalled and your bot is pushed in? Take a free tower and dragon. Plan things out, react quick, stay on your toes and it is super fun.
Edit: just to add this is why they changed jungle so much. so that its not all about staying in jungle and farming, you take your camps and then take objectives. This is why they upped the respawn timers.

The issue is that Riot created a heavy-gank meta, but they get full gold still due to how much the camps are worth and how long the timers are. There's no reason to play other junglers when they farm slower on average, gank worse on average, initiate worse on average, and snowball worse on average.
There's an extreme lack of diversity right now.
