I was gaining +22 LP and lost twice, then went 9-2 after and all 11 games were +15/-20 LP

I lost two games in a row, one for -16 LP and then other demoted me to Platinum II 75 LP, which means that my MMR isn't low.

I then won 9 games and lost 2.

All 9 wins are +15 LP, regardless of the fact I was gaining +22 LP before I demoted. Both losses were -20 LP, regardless of the fact I was only losing -16 LP before I demoted.

What the fuck is going on here? At the very least, I would expect my LP gains to increase from 15 after going 9-2.

I'm in D4 and getting +10 for a Win and -20 for a Loss. This shit is so unbalanced it makes me fucking sick

if this is true, guess it technically means that each tier of diamond is twice as good as the last? who knows, more likely just a bugged game from fast-paced changes

A system that's supposed to match players by their skills shouldn't artifically slow player down. I know you aren't working in Riot, but damn your comment hit the mark.

Just imagine some 100m sprint and then the judge shots the athlete that's in front of race in the knees cause "he's too fast"..

Everyone is paying the price because hardstuck plat players and low diamond players are now masters just by spamming games thanks to LP inflation and Riot refuses to reset. Add coinflip games on top of that and you have a huge frustration that completely kills the 'ranked drive'.

Went on an 8 game win streak and noticed ever time I won another game I was placed with lower Elo/win rate players. Resulting in a lower lp win but was punished harder if I lost. I don’t understand why this is happening but it’s stupidly unfair to higher Elo players

I just lost promos and dropped to 45 LP. Despite going 14-3 in Platinum I, my MMR hasn't climbed high enough to be Diamond.

Its day 4 and they still havent responded to my ticket about that exact issue as soon as i was demoted to plat 3 in one of the roles i started winning 13 lp and losing 20 while being matched with gold 4 every game, perfect matchmaking working as intended

Supposedly LP gains were fucked up at the start of the season, so they did a mass adjustment. If you did placements and didn't get to Diamond already, you're completely fucked and getting shit LP gains.

At the same time, they did nothing to the S8 Gold/low Platinum players who spammed games to climb to Diamond with the inflated gains.

I'm now losing 24 LP and gaining 12 LP.
