Why should mages get an armor item that lets them be invincible for 2 seconds if AD champs cant?

OurLestrade1 votesMages are pretty much 100% reliant on spell rotations to do stuff while AD champions can just wack things to death with autos during their down time, that's how I see it.

Except if Zed ults your ass, but that was intentional move from riot to screw over everyone who doesn't play Zed.
Mages get item that freezes them, because after they cast shit they don't have anything Constructive to do anyway. If there was AD Zhonya's it likely wouldn't be bought anyway.
