Isn't Natural Talent a little weak?

It's honestly just not that good in my opinion.

It really is lacking any advantage over the 2% Live steal and spell vamp.

Now if it was 4 + .333*level AD and 8+.6666 * level AP then it would be actaully all around worth consideing since that would start at 4 AD and 9 AP shown and end at 10 AD and 20 AP.

People usually take masteries for an early game boost but natural talent is currently lacking a good enough early game boost.

Yeah, that's what I thought, I just didn't understand who'd actually want an extra 10 AD and 15 AP when it's already late game, it's practically redundant.

Actually I use Natural Talent over the spellvamp/lifesteal mastery on AP champions that do not have natural sustain. This is because the 2% lifesteal/spellvamp is insignificant and the extra AD, as small as it is, helps during the early game to last hit and harass. It is not very useful but it is much more useful then the lifesteal and spellvamp.

On AD champions, as well as some AP champions like Vladimir and Akali, I use the spellvamp/lifesteal mastery. They make much better use of the sustain.

A little weak? It's horrible.

Yes I don't get it on anyone except AP assassins

No early game advantage and insignificant late advantage.

Thats a problem with many low tier masteries.

2% vamp isn't really great either. 40hp after killing an 2000hp opponent from fullhealth, great.

8% more healibng/shielding recived? Situational good if your champ has massive self heal/shield, and/or you have alot healing/shielding from your allys on top, but on most champs it's rather bad aswell.

45hp? Yea, that things is orettymuch shit.

Only the the cunning tree offfers reasonable stuff at that tier imo, the manaregen is noticeable, especially without mana pots, and 5% more damage vs lowhealth also is quite nice.

It gives me OCD, I hate having random AP/AD on a champ that won't use the extra stat, to the point where in my 20 mastery pages I don't ever take it.

It doesnt matter. Mastery is not going to make or break the game. You will win games based on your skill. Plat 1 with no masteries/runes will still destroy gold 5 with runes/masteries.

too bad you are not going to play against gold 5s as a plat 1 if you are playing ranked. You are playing against other plat 1s more than likely so the difference in skill is very minute (unless someone is a smurf) try playing against someone of your skill lvl with no runes or masteries while they have runes and masteries and say this stupid thing again

Its just the constant, incessant complaining of low elos on these forums that is extremely annoying and irritating. No one wants to get better. They just want to rage, blame others for their Copper 5 rank and whine on forums.

Well, I'm gold V, and I've beaten Plat I's. Believe it or not.

Split it into its two halves and strengthen them appropriately, and/or make it more like Precision (where it actually provides some benefit early-game but still scales). I like the idea of AD and AP on a single mastery for last-hitting as a mage, but it provides less than 1 AD early game, which is when I actually need it.

Yeah it sucks.

2% lifesteal and spellvamp may not seem like much, but it adds up. Say you're the ADC and you last hit minions with autos for like 80 damage. That's only 1.6 HP, but by the time you've killed 100 minions this way, that's 160 HP, not even counting attacking your opponent or using abilities. So it really does add up to being more useful early game than the alternative. And the alternative is just a little more damage late game which is still barely even noticeable. I'd only take the alternative on someone that really barely does any damage, like Janna or someone like that, if I for some reason even used that far down on that tree for her.

Plus your Doran's blade start.

it should give some kind of starting stats, as it is it isn't worth taking even by hybrid champs.
