Is Heimerdinger any good?
I rarely ever see him at high elo and whenever someone does play Heimerdinger, they never do good which is confusing since he has a decent winrate. Is it because people win with him at low elo games or what?

Not sure bout ranked, but Heimerdinger is a b!@#$ to face in mid lane. Especially if he is given room to create his bots. So, yeah, I would say if you get high elo, use him, and change the meta, Most people tend to FOllwo what the LCS uses, and if you don't see the champ in LCS majority of people won't use them
Hes broken OP imo and needs nerfed.
Against good players Heimer is really bad versus ranged champs. Against any decent ranged picks his turrets can get destroyed and they have a massive recharge rate. Maybe he can zone and poke melee though.
I think he's a very poor pick... You can't turn off the auto push. He has a high win rate in low elo probably because he's pretty much automatic and people don't know how to play against him. His win rate drops by 3% as you look at higher brackets.
Trust me, I tried to play him mid. Using him feels like tying my hands behind my back. But maybe I suck with him.
High elo: everyone knows how to counter him
Low elo: everyone flips out because they dont know how to counter him
(most)Assassins/most melee: cant do shit vs him (thats why he's popular top as well)
Honestly, I just think he needs a few little buffs. His passive could use work, his turrets should be beefier and not get one shotted by a sneeze. Maybe a shorter recharge timer if it remains to get taken out so quick. And I think his missiles and grenades need a shorter cooldown because there are better siege/poke champs with better damage and cooldown. All in short, why play Heimer when there are better champions in the pool list. =/ I feel like he's only good in 1v1 Howling Abyss.
He's ok, but his weaknesses aren't really anything you can control as a player. If the other team has the right comp, you're pretty much screwed.
It just seems like Heimer is just a random factor so you win some or lose some.
I feel like his turrets are a setback. They die too easy and with jungle ganking in with AoE smite ready, it's a lost without escapes. In late game I think it's even worse. Anything can one shot Heimers turrets.
Heimer kind of sucks, for some of the reasons listed here and others. Late game he doesnt really contribute, forced to push lane usually and vurnerable to ganks. He's just one of those champs who is cheap against newer players who dont know how to deal with him yet, but otherwise isnt any good.
I think that he is good but isn't that fun to play
Well, actually I do like to play him I am a low level so no one knows how to counter him
