whats wrong with nasus q?

whoever has played the champion recently probably knows what im talking about. suddenly for no reason at all, he seems to attack in slow motion with the thing. easily taking up to a second or longer to execute the strike. its highly irritating especially when it happens in trades with enemy champions.

worst part is, that interrupting the animation doesnt get rid of the effect. it can lead to a situation where youre sitting there for a couple seconds not doing anything at all, until you realize whats actually happening and let the animation play out.

ive seen this recently on a stream and ive experienced it myself in game.

can you please disable the champion until this is resolved? because its kindof gamebreaking. i dont know how to recreate it either, since it seemed to appear at random times. but it happened multiple times in my most recent game with him.

It's a bug. Happens when you switch targets during Q's startup.

It's pretty shittastic, and it seems we won't be getting it fixed until at least 5.18.

awsome. is there any specific reason why there isnt a client notification to tell people how to avoid this, or nasus isnt disabled for the duration? this shit can actually screw up games.

no wonder his winrate dropped by almost 4%.

The dude talking about it was pretty flip. Having foreknowledge of how it works can help keep you from screwing it up, but it's still a blatant fuckup.

"well fix it in 5.18 most likely" well, that sounds reassuring...

thanks for the info though. ill probably just avoid playing him until then. being able to switch targets mid q can sometimes be pretty important. either to fake a q on a minion, or when youre fighting more than 1 opponent and your initial target jumps out of range.

I just finished a game playing nasus against gnar and any time he hopped it would bug out my q canceling the auto mid swing and I was unable to do any thing for several seconds after. This is 1000% worthy of disabling the champ until it's fixed since so much nasus' kit is balanced around his q.

It wasn't just his jump, but a number of his abilities that bugged my q out.
