My happiest kill ever came from ulting a Lee Sin running through the river even though I knew the damage wouldn't be enough to kill him.

Fortunately, little scuttle crab came to the rescue and DASHED right next to Lee, prompting a million bounces and killing him right there. I was so happy. (For you crab lovers out there, yes, the crab lived).

Additionally I'm pretty sure you can still ping the champion to create the target overhead, and when she clones the real one will still be targeted.

Same deal against shaco, however those can be easily told apart by how much one of your auto attacks does to it. If its doing a third of its health, the jokes on you!

I was once playing Cho against Wu, I was doing a rough trade right next to his turret, and he suddenly stood still. I was all "Aw fuck, he ran away, oh well, clones still give stacks anyways" and ulted the clone.

It wasn't the clone :D

Or, you could ping on Leblanc when she is low on hp. The real one will still have the marker over her head after the passive triggers.

It's also a very old one that Shaco has been dealing with for quite a long time. Always interesting to find people who aren't aware of this to leverage it. Of course, I believe it should be fixed so discovering the clone isn't so easy but that would be a direct buff to LB and I'm sure that's considered taboo around these parts.

Something like the indicator is removed upon activation or do you think it should ping on both of them if it hovers over them long enough for both to appear? Though that last one I don't know how well that would code.

How they fix it wouldn't matter as long as it's fixed, and this is from someone who doesn't much of Shaco or LB anymore. It just undermines the point of LB's passive and makes Shaco's ult less effective at being a distraction.

I play a butt load of LeBranc, so that kind of stuff definitely sucks. Though since you can't see it on your end you've no idea, but definitely would be nice to have something. I just imagine it should be removed upon activation of either LeBranc's passive or Shaco's ultimate. It makes more sense with Shaco since he "leaves" the game for the moment it activates.

Any sort of thing that can indicate the real LeBlanc before the passive procs. (Ignite, Exhaust, any other sort of CC, etc.)

On another note on clones, Shacos clone will have all items and buffs, but not dragons.

Also try to notice patterns.

If the fake LB went north last time, chances are they'll go north again.

Those small things always help me when I play against LBs.

I once had a game as Shaco a long time ago where I stood still and had my clone run way, Darius can up and auto attacked me 3 times and I because I did nothing and stood there, he just walk away, and I walked away with my life [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

The problem with her passive is that makes her untarggetable briefly and throws off your combo completely, not that you cant identify her clone afterwards. It also has like no cooldown

I was laning against LeBlanc as kindred. One way i was able to stpot her was I would hit her with my e, then when she dissapears and re appears with hee clone, the real one will still have the mark on them. Other stuff like Tahm's passive help too

All those times people Igntied/ulted/flashed to kill my clone is just ridiculous and so funny to watch. But when i play zed against her i simply ult her and focus on the one with the Death Mark sign.
