New Item suggestion: "Targon's Anti-AD bracelet."

LatetotheRace··2 votes·733 views

builds from item 3076 and item 3751 Passives Immolate, and brambles. Unique passive: You didn't plan at champ select. -Effects. If 80% of the enemy team consists of AD champions, all incoming physical damage is reduced by 25% (before armor reduction)"

About fucking time teams get punished for building full AD.

EDIT: Incase this is a little hard to understand, a team with 80% ad champions is 4/5 leaving an AP support. So any comp that's full AD like that shouldn't work anyway, but due to the gross state of AD penetration it does. This would be a nice buffer in the way of the AD insane heavy meta, and encourage champion diversity. (Also the numbers and build path is 100% up to suggestion and alteration.)

I disagree with this.

First off, there should never be an item that punishes people for playing certain champions.

Second off, 25% physical damage reduction sounds ridiculous, and, to be fair, heavily abusable.

Just imagine Graves.

You won't even be able to hurt him unless you're a mage.

That's the point though The damage is too high and there isn't many good ways to punish full ad comps with how easily lethality champs scale off a single kill And with aatrox being like he is thornmail ain't gonna cut it So how to fix? THORNMAIL ON FIRE

I just don't think adding even more broken shit to the game fixes the problem.

We have to tone down what was the problem to begin with.

I think we start by changing that sorcery rune to a shield that pops and blocks a 20% of your Max hp (the shield size that is) for 2.5 seconds with a 120 second cooldown Mages get health ap items can be happy Tanks can be happy Assassin's...... You're the problem (and adcs, and conquerer)...... But still that's just an opinion

The numbers are grossly exaggerated on my design, but the concept is fine. Punishing a team for going all the same damage type should be enough to encourage actual diversity. As it is, armor really doesn't quite cut it, and thornmail is useless against AD casters.

So why not just nerf the AD champions in the first place so they aren't picked every game?

Why add more stuff that's evantually going to be abused?

Well you see, riot would apparently eat their own children before nerfing their precious AD champions, assassins in particular, so I looked for a compromise. Even though it may be ridiculous. Besides, due to it's parameters, it simply cannot be abused. With simple team building knowledge/skills it would never become an issue.

And Riot would probably still eat their children before they add an item like this. It's still a nerf to their AD champions, so of course they wouldn't go through with this.

The fuck do you mean "due to it's parameters, it simply cannot be abused."?

That's like saying "this item converts 25% of your damage into true damage but only if 80% of enemy players are building MR".

That's broken in of itself but apparently "it can't be abused because it has parameters".

I just... I don't think you actually read the post. At all. Try again.

Okay, you're kind of highlighting the entire design of the item, minus the abuse concept...

"Just imagine Graves."

What about him?

"You won't even be able to hurt him unless you're a mage."

ooooh, I see where you went here. I don't understand how you made such a leap but let me help you.

"if 80% of the enemy team consists of AD champions"

That's a pretty big If right there. Thats if an entire team is AD, excluding the support. Top, mid, jungle, and bottom all going AD. By definition that should be a huge problem if you weigh all of your damage onto one style. This item just discourages players further from doing that.

It's not a big deal ,but you completely miss understood that fact.

First off, you can't use one argument "AD champions are broken so everyone runs them", and then afterwards say "but the probability of this happening is small". You're contradicting yourself.

Second off, Pyke exists. Supports can be AD now.

Third off, it already is a disadvantage. If the entire team is AD, the enemy team only have to build armor items. If the entire team was mixed, however, the enemy team would both have to build armor and mr.

It already is a disadvantage to run a full AD team, but the addition of this item would make it borderline trolling.

Riot doesn't want to force people's team comps. They like it when the players' experiment with different combinations and show their creativity, but the addition of this item would ruin that creativity.

Besides, if the probability of this happening is "so small", as you're saying, why even add an item like this?
