Just when you had everyone on the "Riot is awesome!" hype train, you decide to throw it all away by getting rid of normal draft. Blind pick is hands down the most garbage game mode you could force on everyone. It's an unplayable steaming pile of shit.
You blew it. Threw it all away. Is this some sort of way to force people into ranked queues so Flex Queue doesn't die? Why can't you just fucking let it go?

So 85% of players basically still have normal draft, so please stop with the complaining.

Guy Fox Teemo1 votesI'm sorry , those last 15%? Yea only 3% of those players played normal draft and that was divided up inbetween like 5 regions, so to make the math easy, 0.6% of players out of the 3% played normal raft.
So no , nobodys getting screwed over here, the queues on those servers were horrific with terrible balance , so fourth. No reason to keep them up.

Normal Draft will be retired at the start of preseason for all regions except North America, Europe West, and Brazil. Our goal is to offer the fewest number of queues that give unique experiences (so we can keep queues healthy) while keeping disruption low, and in all regions except NA/EUW/BR, normal draft had very low participation. In an ideal world, we’d like to retire normal draft in all regions.

I do think it matters. I don't think we have any idea what the queues are like in smaller regions unless we play those queues in those regions. What's good for NA isn't necessarily good for every other region.
All the complaining about the deletion of the queue seems to be about how people like playing normal draft or know people who like playing normal draft, but that's NA players and NA players known by other NA players who all have access to a healthy and highly populated queue which gives a very different experience from a low population queue with bad matchmaking and long queue times.
