Does anyone see the LeBlanc problem with Fizz?

Where most of his damage Is just hard to dodge, relying on the Fizz players fuck up, instead of the opposing players ability? Other than his ult, a lot of his damage is just "ha I got near ya, time to take damage and deal with it".

Is there anyway that we could reduce the speed of his troll poles descent, like we reduced Leblancs dash speed, to allow better counterplay to his high damage and mobility? Just not go as far as we did with Leblanc, pre-buff.

Would a small decrease in his troll poles descent hurt his ability to assassinate people? Or would it allow healthier gameplay against ~~that annoying piece of shit ~~ Fizz.

Counter-play involves using a champions abilities to best avoid and deal damage. If Fizz can avoid the one critical component of a champions ability to do damage, and that champion cannot recover then Fizz has the right to assassinate his opponent.

You can best help yourself by not picking Le Blanc, and choosing Morgana or Lux who have roots and AoE damage at a range so they can avoid Fizz's damage.

Fizz is annoying, but a critical part of him is his ult, which can be altogether canceled by QSS or Cleanse. Literally, as PreRW Fiora I hated Fizz because I could never get any hits in. But using Mercurial Scimitar allowed me to continue doing damage and he basically just charged at me like a dummy.

I am not talking about Fizz's ability to dodge an enemys skill to outplay them. IOutplaying is fine, its what makes the game fun. What I am talking about is say, Fizz decided to engage upon you, troll poling over and slamming down. There is little to no option to avoid that damage without a mobility spell.

Second part, I wasn't asking for match up picks, nor did I imply that I played Leblanc either.

Final part, QSS works best on AD. Banshee's or an Abysall are a better pick to counter a Fizz damage, as an AP, but Abyssal doesn't work as well on some champs as others. But my original question remains, but with a twist now, why must you have to rush resistances against someone whose damage you can't avoid? Why cannot there be counterplay in general?

Take my path of thinking: Am I doing real good (1/0/0) or an I sucking (0/1/0) right now. What I do next, depending on whether I'm doing good or not, is either buy sustain, or damage. Good = Damage, Bad = Sustain. That should be a train of thought for all champions. Building resistances is a core mechanic to the game. Having at least 80 MR will keep you impactful throughout the game. No player should have less than 2400 health at max rank. Sometimes being able to bear the brunt of an assassin can be enough to turn the situation around on them.

Honestly, even as a huge hater of Fizz, if they gave his E a substantial cooldown, (i.e. 20 seconds at all points in the game or something similar) I'd be incredibly happy.

Well that would require a bit of throwing around of power, since his E is his escape, damage, mobility, safety. (Damn that skill is overloaded). Something around 10-12 would be better.

You get the idea though. It's the single most frustrating part of his kit and it's on far too short a cooldown (especially with CDR) for such a power ability
