A reasonable Yasuo nerf

As a person that played the champion since he came out I do believe that his early game is a bit too strong for someone that scales so hard. I would suggest a simple nerf , make his q have a longer cooldown at level 1, and go down in cooldown as he levels it, just like it used to be. This will force people to q max again, and at the same time nerf his early pressure and punish him more for missing those early tornados without hurting his mid to lategame.

Doesn't he always max Q now already? His E got nerfed to the point where maxing Q is more viable than E if you wan't damage and still want mobility.

Yeah that nerf on an ability spammable every one-half to one-tenth of a second is really going to do a lot of good. Problem was they added bonus AD scaling so later on its even more lethal than it was, they should have just left the damage as it was.

I think a lot of problems with Yasuo are solved if you make him dependent on killing anything he E's to get a quick reset. If he can't kill with his E, 3 second cooldown. That'd make him have to actually plan out a strategy instead of just E'ing through waves and gaining stacks of damage with no real fear of being put down.

Actually, Yasuo has low AD for someone who deletes people. The AD Ratio really didn't help.

Overall, you're right. But, there's significant reasons why he is able to delete people as well as he does. His cooldowns outside W are insanely low, to the point I think his ult at rank 3 is 29 or less seconds? he has double crit, a shield regenerating in combat (and refreshed fully on ult), bonus armor pen for 15 seconds on ult, his q provides an AOE/multi-target attack that heals him as if it was single target, and the wall blocks everything for 4 seconds.

With how much damage he does and how quickly he can spam his spells he doesn't need much AD. PD and cloak of agility = 100% crit, add a little lifesteal to that and forget about it. But, if you use rageblade, you'll have mid to late game E damage higher than before the base damage nerf although its not a good item for him.
