What's the point of creating champions that will be ban in most ranked games ? 10 bans, sufficient ?

I don't understand why riot makes characters that have less counterplay (depending on the tier level you play) and are horrible to play against...

As a result having a new champion becomes useless cause you can't play it as Zoé which is actually first in the charts of bans and double bans in Na EuW and KR...

Couldn't they just create new characters that will not be perma ban in ranked games ?

I mean if this continues like this 10 bans will not be sufficient...

New champions and reworks are consistently perma bans. A "weak" champion or rework tends to run 2-4 weeks as a frequent ban and a "op" champion tends to be bans untill they have shown up in patch notes w nerfs 2-3 times.

Bans are entirely outside of riots control, when champion intent got introduced it was very common to see your selection being banned by a teammate because that teammate did not feel it was a viable or strong pick, or it wasn't Meta enough. That was very frustrating, thankfully its now considered a dick move for the most part but it still happens.

My theory is a lot of players do not want to deal with learning how to adapt, they have their playstyle they don't want it to change. New champions = adjusting and adapting. Its a lot quicker and easier to just Ban that champion if it has strengths that negatively impact your playstyle then it is to learn how to adapt. Personally if your struggling VS a champion I recommend you take the time to play them for 15-20 games to get a good feel on their mechanics and power spikes as well as first hand witness what other players do vs that champ to succeed.
