I don't think Lee Sin is OP or broken right now.

He has a 48% winrate across all ranks, and 49% win rate plat plus. This is ok for a decently hard champion.

However, I think Lee Sin's winrate is actually inflated. Why? Because Lee Sin is one of the most studied and experimented on champs in League. Being able to Insec was only possible in high elo in 2013 or 14, but it's not hard to find Gold Lee Sin mains who can Insec these days. The champion has been so studied that what was once a hard champion is not nearly as difficult.

I just don't see any stats that show he's cancer or broken. I didn't hear people complain about him earlier this year, and he's held a consistent winrate since the beginning of 2019 between 48-50 percent.

Please explain what makes him so broken, I don't see it. Nobody had this issue (with Lee) before. The only buffs he has received the whole season has been a 25 point increase in R damage and 5 more damage on Q. Nobody said anything about him before, so why do I see so many posts now saying "Lee OP"? There's 0 data to support that idea.

I think he might be a little strong this seasons but that is because you basically cant come back this season. its early game or nothing. So basically all the early game champions are OP.

No , High skill champions are supposed to be balanced around 47-48% winrate. Let's not forget his huge pick rate which naturally makes his winrate lower because a lot of players who didn't master him yet are playing him.

He is broken back in the day when he was picked at worlds he had to be nerfed for several times until he was no longer a desired choice and people still picked him. 10% of challengar mains are lee sin mains which shows how much more control he has over the game when you pick him. This is a huge problem we aren't playing league of lee sin where the game depends on how your lee sin plays. And having such a winrate for a allegadly high skill scaling champion IS high

He has been strong as the meta shifted more towards early and things like that, he showed up and people also require time to learn him. Some patches that made him strong: 9.18 R dmg buff, 9.15 Q dmg buff, 8.15 Massive Q dmg buff, 8.12 E dmg buff, 8.11 energy restore buff 8.6 energy restore buff, Q range buff, R dmg buff This is pretty hard buffing over a year and most likely you feel that as by the end of s8 he got strong so more and more people started playing him and takes about as this much time to learn it. But it is a problem and more and more champions with high skill scaling get to be broken in their easy parts in a sense because they are high skill. GP's laning phase is almost unbeatable because he spams Qs at you, you don't have to hit barrels if you counterpick into a melee you can't likely miss them either you just autowin lane. And he has 48-49% winrate which is an incredible problem as he is in my opinion the highest skill scaling champion overall just because of the barrel mechanics.

Gold? I bet that bronze players could insec by now, its the most popular mechanical skill on lee sin tbh
