Solo lane EXP is too strong, making solo laners 3 lvls ahead of junglers/bot laners.

I main jungle. I played so many games in 9.23 and, so far, I noticed something that's breaking the game, tbh.

In so many games, I'm farming my camps, ganking when there is an opportunity, maybe getting a kill... The usual! The game state is even, there was barely anything happening, every lane is just farming, nothing too crazy... It would seem like the game state is balanced.

So, I'm lvl 8. I hit tab, and I realize that all solo laners are lvl 11. Like... WTF!

Not only that, I check bot lane but they're lvl 8, like me.

Idk about you, but imho, this is complete bullshit and broken. As a jungler, the removal of catch-up EXP, and the nerf of jungle EXP, already are a big deal and restricting our power, early on. Add to that the 2.4% shared EXP nerf in lane, which both hits the bot lane hard and also hits the jungler hard too, since soaking EXP from a lane after a gank is not really viable anymore (not enough).

So, now, I'm forced into a very gank heavy play style in order to get kills and EXP, while denying the enemy laner(s) as much EXP as possible, especially in solo lanes. But that's just not enough. I'm also forced into invading the enemy jungler in order to put him behind early, as well. This pushes the jungle meta into a very aggressive meta where early strong dueling and fast clearing junglers thrive, restricting the number of viable jungle picks, overall. Add to that the importance of early drakes, and the meta is, once again, bot lane centric.

The problem, however, is that since the solo laners are always, at least, 2 lvls ahead of me, it's really hard to gank them, especially certain champions like Zed and Singed, who can 1v2 us easily, unless my own laner is playing something of a similar strength, and is not already losing lane too hard to begin with.

Also, another problem is that, these overall EXP nerfs remove agency from junglers. Now, we're so dependant on laners having lane priority in order to do anything, really. Especially mid and bot lane priority are very important, for securing drakes. So even if I play the jungle matchup correctly and I'm doing fine myself, I can easily lose the game, before I even get to do anything, simply because my laners are losing on their own. And even if I sacrifice my life for just a chance to try to steal the dragon, it ain't worth it, in the long run, since I'm gonna be even further behind in EXP.

I personally think that the jungle changes are good for the game, overall, if the solo laners weren't as far ahead of everyone else. But, with the solo laners having too much EXP and out leveling everyone else by 3 lvls, this creates an unbalanced game state before turret plates even fall off. The solo lane EXP needs to be nerfed and games will balance out on their own. Because, right now, solo laners hold too much power, tbh, and every other role is too weak in comparison.

the jg xp got a huge nerf. i was 2/1/4 as ekko with 105 cs while teemo was 0/5/0 in my top lane and teemo is 2 levels ahead. If you play well in the jg now you just dont get any reward for it you have to hope you win the coinflip bot lane and mid doesnt int and even then it wont matter cuz some one gets elder and they instantly win the game

when i jungle solo laners are like...maybe 1 level above me...but this is because i like power farmers, im so relieved ganking junglers finally got the nerfbat, maybe now i will stop seeing, shaco, lee, and gragas every god damn game and start seeing more of the farming focused junglers, plus i dont have ppl bitching about ganks all the time, meaning laners will finally learn to play the damn game without their hands being held
