So apparently Nocturne can bypass Anivia's wall...

Was spectating a game a few minutes ago. Nocturne ults at someone on the enemy team. The Anivia on the other team was skilled enough to place a wall in front of him, but apparently he can just launch right through it with his ult. So much for being an "impassable wall".

I just want to know is this intended or a bug? It seems stupid that champions can pass through Anivia's wall so easily.

Nocturne ults through all terrain though. Anivia's wall is seen as terrain. Therefore this doesn't stop it.

...... Yes he also goes through walls and trees and everything else in the game when he ults.

Ask jarvan how he feels about walls and how impassable they are.

You have to be incredibly new to the game to be confused by this so I won't berate you like I typically would but Nocturne bypasses all terrain when he ults. Anivia's wall is no different.

The ability clearly states "IMPASSABLE WALL". Why is he allowed to do this?

Within context of the game "impassable" means that units can't walk through it; things can still go passed them by dashing/blinking. Think in terms of how the game works instead of projecting your interpretation of what these descriptions mean onto how an ability should function.

Sion's ultimate is called "Unstoppable Onslaught" and says he is immune to any disables.

He gets stopped by a massive amount of disables, including Azir ult, Anivia wall , etc.... More like STOPPABLE Onslaught, AMRITY?

Those aren't disables, they're walls! Except Azir's. There should be a hidden interaction where he just knocks them all down xD

I understand the concept of terrain obstruction Sion... but for what purpose or reason is Unstoppable Onslaught made stoppable by these things but not Malphite's Unstoppable Force? Unstoppable Force is CORRECTLY unstoppable, whereas Unstoppable Onslaught is INCORRECTLY stoppable.

I guess this is a semantical argument but it's a damn good one (for once). It should not be called "Unstoppable Onslaught" if it can be stopped by the enemy. Artificial terrain should not stop Sion.

Hmm... well Malphite's can pass walls, and Sion's can't (please don't use the names of the skills, it's too confusing).

And besides - what wins? Unstoppable movement or impassible walls?

I'm guessing you also failed to notice that Nocturne travels through any obstructing terrain to get to his target.

Anivia can also place a wall in between her and a Tristana Rocket Jump. Guess what, though? She doesn't get stopped mid air, lmao

If you think that's bad, many dashes that don't go through walls normally can bypass player terrain, Ever see Vayne tumble out of a Jarvan ult?

Shonjl1 votes

His ult makes him basically a projectile to them. So yeah, her wall does nothing. Yas wall I would assume wouldn't either due to him being a character as well.
