@Riot @Morello Darius is in a terrible spot and needs attention

When Darius was released he was a pub stomper, destroyed and dominated low elo and wasn't the most enjoyable in blind pick when you decided to play a melee who couldn't stand toe to toe with Darius. Darius was nerfed about 1 patch after he was released as were most champs back then since they were released overpowered and his first set of nerfs was understandable(not sure about the bleed damage nerf though).

Darius was being used in LCS and was showing good results in NA LCS, Darien used him in EU and dominated an Irelia(score was around 12-1 or something).

Shortly after this he received his most devastating nerf; His ult no longer fully reset on kill, instead was resettable for 12 seconds(now 20) and would go on cooldown afterwards.

This nerf killed Darius from what his entire kit revolved around, getting enemies low with bleeds and your spells then executing them. Darius was an especially amazing champion at keeping late game champs down for a long time(Renekton does this job better now).

He received a stealth nerf to his pull(range 540 from 550 and has a windup time now) which made him more kite able than before.

Live Darius as of now is still a pub stomper and in higher elos can still keep his lane opponent down but he doesn't do it as well as before or can keep them down as long as before. Live Darius and even pre ult nerf Darius both have terrible team fight presences as long as the enemy knows not to let a Darius just walk up to their squishies and delete them.

Darius is also the only Bruiser with no innate tankyness or sustain in his kit but that's another story.

What does Darius need? If you listen to the Darius players they say nerf reverts to his ult and E, if you ask people who don't know much about Darius/have experienced release Darius they will say he is fine.

What do I propose? I can't say, if I can't test multiple things to see what would make him great I can not give a good judgment.

He was supposed to have a rework that was "mothballed" in January 2014 waiting for art resources, still being worked on June 2014, and the rework cancelled but looking for QOL buffs in Augustish.
