Over the Lee Sin hate posts

You guys bitch, and bitch, and bitch, and bitch, and bitch until finally they throw nerfs for him on PBE that are ACTUALLY going to impact his early play where he is supposed to thrive, get ahead and snowball. 20 seconds on his rank 1 ult is nothing to scoff at honestly and I agree was necessary. Tbh make it 120 seconds just so people will shut the hell up already. You idiots whine and complain about the kick+flash combo despite the fact he's burning a 225-300 second CD in order to do this leaving a large window to play around if you keep track of his flash timer. I am not even bothered by him getting nerfed because I still will enjoy playing him and having fun on a champion that is mechanically challenging and you can always learn something new on him. I'll continue playing him whenever I can just to keep your hate train going for absolutely zero reason other than you get beat by one and want to vent and you know you'll get upvotes because it's Lee Sin. Enjoy :)

Lee is both statistically and fundamentally broken (regarding some of his design choices, such as the W or R's mini-suppress being probably the biggest factor to why he's broken), people have been proving that for the last 5+ years if not more. Don't dress that nerf as a result of the bitching, it is just a nerf that's arriving too late.

Secondly, Lee is also proven to not actually fall off throughout the game despite his early game OPness, at least not enough in respect to his early advantage. He merely goes from being broken to being average throughout a long game, which is obviously trouble (the reverse scenario to how people have issues with marksmen, where most of them are late-game carries with average early game, sometimes even strong early game). And so what happens is that Riot has 2 choices, either make him fall off big to accommodate for his early game boost, or make him so-so throughout the match itself and maintain a position of being a jack-of-all-trades. Riot has decided for the latter, at least theoretically, and that's why his early game is going to be nerfed.

Is there a hate-train? Yes. But are all of the QQ's "going for absolutely zero reason other than you get beat by one and want to vent"? No, just no.

Honestly man (or girl), you're just wasting your breath. I main the champion. I agree he needed nerfs to his early game. He's got them on PBE. He does in fact fall off late game (coming from a combined 700k mastery points over several accounts). The Lee hate group got nerfs whether they like them or not, I'm over it. I hope he continues being played as much or more than he already is just to make people rage harder.

I made this analogy many times, and I can make it again:

If there is a champ that does 100 billion damage and falls off late game to do 1 million, that's a MASSIVE fall-off for sure, but that still doesn't change the fact the champion in question is still just disgustingly OP.

It's obviously a massive exaggeration to make a point, but you get the idea. "fall-off" has to also be one in respect to the game balance, he falling off with respect to himself can mean very little. And that's kinda the spot where Lee more or less is in, where he DOES fall off, sure, but IN RESPECT TO HIMSELF, as he merely goes to being average than actually falling off in the grand scheme of things.

....................

Also, Lee's play rate is way too high over the average, where in the ideal world every champ should get about 7% of the pick rate if you just divide 10 with the total number of champs, and what Lee has is a >2 multiple of that number, which already signals a balance issue in and of itself. A champion can only be so fun and attract so many people to play them through that, when their pick rate is massively inflated beyond the average, it does nothing but signal an uneven balance state.

Lee will never be not-played, at least not in the foreseeable future. Because nerfing, not even a gut, a blatantly OP champ will not make the champ dead. If the likes of Shaco can take like 30 guts to his abdomen and still somehow survive, I think taking a kick in his fat-ass will not kill Lee.
