There was a time in s4 where people went solo lane lulu and soraka, unfortunately rito didnt like it.

I do not support (Lulu Top) that because of that darn W (I mean really.... who wants to face the BEST cc in the whole game while you are melee.... on second thought...). Soraka... went other lanes? I have not seen that. Nami mid, yes, but Soraka? news to me.
Mecha MaIphite1 votesRiven can build black cleaver and GA, plus her E shield. Fiora starts off with damage but usually ends the game with a couple of tank items. They're not really tanky, but I wouldn't call them squishy, either.
