Mid mages are being pushed out of bot lane

If I'm understanding the shift in support items correctly "Mid Mage supports", like Lux, Annie, Brand, Zyra, Xerath, etc are lowkey being pushed out of the bot lane with the removal of mana regen. It seems like it won't be as profitable for them to go bot as it has been so far. I'm totally fine with that as Riot has nerfed some of them to only thrive bot lane but they were/are still strong there. I've never wanted to really see them bot lane anyway especially my former mid champion Zyra. However, that being said where does that leave these champions now? In their current state some of them are easily stomped or pushed out of mid lane by the new wave of mobility/assassin champions with little risk high reward. I hope riot does something to allow for this shift. There was not one new Ap item for mages in the update. Imo it seems riot is biased toward AD champs. Even Edge of night has been adapted to an AD Banshee's Veil.

tbh even with the changes to the gold income brand and zyra are still going to do better there than a solo lane due to their kits alone

Most of these champs actually post better scores in other roles. It's completely arbitrary that mages went bot. It's more indicative of a weak bot lane selection for fillers than it is a condemnation of their mid performance.

I frequently jungle Morgana/Zyra and do FAR better than as support. Zyra top and Morg mid are also better.

Apparently literally any variation or shift from this results in QQ and immediate reverts. Even when people cry about "adc being weak!" they are the only game in town in bot carry role. Quite funny really that they are NEVER weak.

Riot said a year or so ago they wanted more variety and IMMEDIATELY went back on this statement when there actually started being variety bot lane. Not surprised they're doing it again.

What kind of drugs are you taking, mages have been dominating for the entire season and edge of nights being nerfed, braindead easy mode mages arent supposed to have a lane lmfao, binary champs ported support for free poke or left to rot as they should. Also I would like to live in a worlf where mages had mana. Not like item 3802 basically gives infinite mana and manaflow band also restoring mana
