All of the pure utility champions are outclassed by pure damage / cc engage champs.

Played basically only thresh to master 250 LP. He's fine. Lol. But by all means, I love buffs.

if ivern is strong Ivern , he will walk into the enemy JG, steal enemy camp, and run away, which isn't fun to deal with. and they don't mind nerfing one unfun aspect as long as they aren't popular hmmmmm...

and as long as Pyke is as he is atm, he is a pure upgrade to Thresh excluding the lantern, but he does similar things, and has the ability to kill and be adored for doing so thanks to "your cut"

Sounds like you're not capable of playing Thresh and or Ivern.

There is a Challenger Rank 1 Ivern. OR rather someone played Ivern to Ranked 1 before.

There can be a challenger in any rank with any champion, doesn't mean they are good.

His duo could just be simply abusing a champ and climb with him. Have your support keep bottom alive, while you go for rift and solo lane kills or tower first blood is an easy strategy to pull off.

Your argument is literally "X champ is in challenger he's okay"

When in reality barely 3-5% of the playerbase is in challenger.

He could easily have climbed with another champion, and just felt like randomly playing Ivern also.

First off. Challenger is like .001 percent of players. Secondly. A 1trick ivern climbing there does actually mean something. Because you can't play all champions to Challenger. For example. Garen for the longest time had the highest one trick in diamond because he was just too weak to perform at higher levels of play.

"There can be a challenger in any rank with any champion" Hold the phone. there can only be challenger in challenger. A smurf account in bronze is a bronze account, regardless of the player skill or champion pick. A dedicated champion on a account in challenger is only place you see them in challenger. If not it would be a different rank, if there is no one doing it then that champion is not being mained there.

Argument? There is no argument made... I simply told facts that X champions, in this case; Ivern and Thresh AREN'T terrible as he said... I stated if players in challenger CAN play it all the way TO challenger then they obviously aren't a bad champion LET alone the skills to play the champion deters from each ELO.

If he could have as you stated, "easily climbed with another champion" he would have already. He likes playing those but he complains about them NOT being OP enough when I stated they're perfectly fine.

So please don't try to start an argument and or try to assume these champions aren't good because you, yourself aren't capable of playing them well enough.

Ivern is actually pretty okay, he has a good winrate although that is because he is mostly just played by mains.

You need to play thresh waaaaay more. He’s got excellent utility. Watch bunny fufuu’s video on the recent lantern cdr buff too. Had like a 6.something CD after 45% and max rank. But still before thresh was my go to when auto filled and I just feel so strong with him as a support.
