Is Sion's Passive OP? (Not a Rant)
I mean he's a huge tank late game. When you take him down, you have to do all over it again with his lifesteal. Wouldn't that be OP? Would his passive be healthier if it had a CD?

Well he dies in the process, not really that fast of a character, honestly I feel like his passive is pointless unless you have a team that can CC people down when you're dead during a team fight but by the time Sion dies the teams pretty much dead with him lol
So no it's not OP, it's pretty shit.
I think the Key questions to ask is, When and how should he be strong?
Right now, his passive is balanced around him having it every time he dies. (similar to Karthus.) There's a possibility that they can't change it for a technical reason. (Like say, he doesn't have a normal death animation. but that's a small chance.)
If you but a CD on his passive. Likely his passive would have to be buffed to compensate. Yet a good Sion, and a good team, will play around that CD, and time their engages, around it. So all it would really do is make the champion even more High skill.
I dont think so. Since League is a Moba, I feel like anything other than Support should be able to do some decent damage. The reason I say that is because Sion is a good Tanky Champion when alive and I feel as if his passive turns him from a Tanky to a decent damage dealer for a few seconds. Also, if fits his champion "swag" so to speak. A juggernaut who thrives on carnage and JUST WONT DIE.
No not really.
It's not as bad as people make it out to be but it's not that good.
Also, if you like Champion concepts, please feel free to read a concept I created and let me know what you think. Aayran, The Telekinetic
Have you seen Sion many times? Late game he still just dies really quickly in the passive. You don't need to kill him all over again late game because as long as you can stop him auto attacking you (very easy), he dies in about two seconds.
k calm down. I was only asking a question.

I was calm :o I wasn't attacking you when I asked if you'd played against Sion much - I was genuinely curious because I can see why his passive would look scary on paper but once you get actual game experience against it you do see pretty quickly that you don't need to be hugely scared of it. If your team can put even a single slow on him then he'll usually die before getting 2+ auto attacks off, and the decay on the passive absolutely melts through the HP he has.
Honestly I think his passive gets weaker as the game goes on. It seems more impactful early to me.
