That isn't a glitch. Its a side effect of how cone spells work. As I understand it cone spells check for targets when the ability is cast and then play the animation, so you flashed after he cast the spell but before the animation went off.

What this person said. Morde and annie's function the same way. Back when I played morde you could easily hit people that appeared outside of your e's cone by abusing this.
