I can't tell if Mundo was overbuffed or if my opponents are bad.

I'm by no means a good Mundo, and haven't played him in months, but he feels just like he did before the nerfs, when the Resolve tree had OP synergy and Mundo was carrying every game.

Were the buffs really this significant, or am I getting lucky?

I think it's the sleeper effect, people don't see Mundo often so they forgot how to play against him.

I haven't seen Mundo in a while to be honest. What exactly happened that makes you think he might be too strong?

He got small buffs to E in 6.19, which ups the max damage by 20 at level 5 and lowered the cooldown from 7 seconds to 6 seconds.

He currently has the highest jungle winrate, and I've been spamming him the past few days and have an over 80% winrate on him over 12 games or so. Anecdotal, but it's worth noting.

His playrate is in the bottom 5, which can account for some of the winrate, but it still seems a little off.

May have to wait a while to see if he's truly too strong. Small playerbase can't tell us that.

Yeah, I'll be keeping my eye on it. He feels really strong, but I could just be playing better than usual. If he is OP, maybe it can stay on the down-low for a few weeks? I kinda wanna make Plat :p

i got my shit kicked by a Mundo top the other day as Darius

even with executioner rush and ignite I couldn't kill his sustain

I never have any luck with Mundo top because I suck at playing safe, but jungling allows me to farm for free and get items without having to fight in my weak early state. As soon as I get an item after Cinderhulk, I feel utterly unkillable and the damage I do is still stupidly high.

Mundo top's winrate is much lower for what I can assume is a similar reason, that his early game isn't the best and if he gets behind he can't scale.

Darius vs. Mundo is either a farm lane (if Mundo is smart and plays safe) or a Kill lane if he tries trading with you.

So long as you don't get bombarded by Q's you probably should've won that lane easily, especially if you had ignite

nah enemy skarner was always top too, if I ever went aggro he'd be there to shut me down

eventually Mundo could just kill me on his own

Ah, in that case I suggest ensuring that you have vision and even then, only really go aggro if your jungler is top side (just somewhere in the area). I know the struggles of getting camped, but you just gotta shove out lane and look for roams if top lane is too dangerous to do anything in
