Will Darius receive more love/his rework later this season?

I'm so glad Darius is finally getting a buff, I've been waiting since patch 3.03 to have this happen and am incredibly happy.

With that being said, this buff won't make him tier 1 or a contested pick, just slightly better late game WHICH IS FINE, but will he get more buffs later on in the season or even reworked?

His rework has been talked about since Jan 2013, said to have been mothballed but waiting on art resources Jan 2014, and canceled Aug 2014.

Will he receive anything else or his rework this Season or is he going to be a Season 6 project?

I'm also curious on this. I haven't seen Darius picked in higher tier competitive play since season 3, and at that he has only seen (I believe) 7 picks and 1 ban since his release in pro play.

You can always find changes at Surrender At 20. http://www.surrenderat20.net/ The first link is today's PBE patch, and there is always a link that gives the full list of current PBE changes at http://www.surrenderat20.net/p/current-pbe-balance-changes.html (this may take a few hours to update).

That said, this change being reverted means almost nothing. Changes get reverted on the PBE all the time and still end up in the final patch. It's just part of how the PBE works. Until a Rioter states otherwise or the patch comes out, the most likely assumption is that it is still coming out.

Last time I saw riot's attempts at a darius rework they still had the problem that they were trying to leave no mobility and kiteability as his defining weakness, which is the entire problem with his design and is never going to work. They need to get it through their skulls that mobility/range extremism given their already too large distribution is NEVER going to create interesting interactions and will ALWAYS result in rock paper scissors champions with unremovable power discrepancies across elos (sup kalista).

What they really need is to add some kind of novel long term cc to his kit if they want him to be a slow, lumbering, walk at you guy. He needs to have less burst but be more of an intractable force that is going to get and stick to you without ranged champions laughing and dashing away.

Something like Q is his current W, W is an attack speed (small movespeed?) boost, ult is still dunk possibly more directly scaling with bleed stacks, e is a blitz/thresh style hook that stays attached to enemy champion for a long time preventing them from dashing farther away and slowing them while running from him.
