I main Jax jg but in a recent game, the enemy took him from me. I was worried about Jax jg because of the Vietnam war flashbacks I gave people with him. What actually ended up happening was he went top with twitch jg. He was also the reason they threw when Jax got fed. I figured I need an assassin/mage jg but the problem is im not good at rengar/kha'zix, I don't own lee sin or want to invest 100 games into learning that shit, most of my jg's use aa's I banned olaf, and Jax counters anyone who isn't 100% ability based. So what do I pick? I pick wukong because fuck it and I panicked. I did ok but not stellar. What I want to know is wukong jg any good. I know he's a good top and mid but what about jg. If not who should I use against Jax jg (I ban Olaf).

If Jax jungle works for you, keep playing him. Otherwise, if he's banned or taken away from you, then Wukong is a great choice since his playstyle isn't too far away from Jax anyway, what he lacks in consistent damage relative to Jax, he makes up for in teamfighting and mass CC relative to Jax. Also his Decoy allows for some really fun mind games.

All in all, during ganks Wukong has "2" gap closers whereas Jax only has one. Assuming you walk into lane and bait out the enemy's mobility spell before using your own to catch up, Wukong can kinda do that twice. You can stealth from the corner, just on the edge of the fog of war to get close to them, AA + Q reset for some early damage, once they burn their mobility spell you still have E up.

Basically he's a great choice for jungling. His clears are fairly good, his ganks are also fairly good, his damage is great, teamfighting is also great. Wukong's just a solid choice for a lot of roles. The only issue for me anyway is that he gets a tad boring after a while but that's personal and subjective.
