@Riot why hasnt Yorick gotten a rework yet?

Yorick is a problem champion, his kit promotes the most boring and frustrating lane so he is purposely made unviable so he is picked very little to me, this screams that the guy needs a massive overhaul to his kit, but ever since reworks became more frequent there has been nothing said about him It's not like he couldn't be injected with a "Azir" type playstyle focused on summoning ghouls to do more then just farm for him

Also the guy hasn't had a skin ever since he was released almost 3 damn years ago, because it's hard for him to fit in a skin Again, this screams that he needs a model rework to allow him to be more accessible to edit into a theme

Because reworks take a long time. In this time, concepts are developed and tested. If these concepts don't work out, they have to be scrapped. If you end up scrapping all your concepts because they aren't good enough or don't do the champion justice then you are back to square one.

At this point it might be fair to say "Okay. We have exhausted all of our ideas for now. Let's re-examine priorities and come back to this champion at a later date".

I guess this happened. This sucks. I bought Yorick for his awesome theme. Later, before I knew the value of a refund, I got rid of him because he wasn't as I thought he would be. Ah well.

Riot confirmed a week or so ago that he is back on the list for a rework, but it won't be anytime soon (likely middle-end of 2016 unless a lot of things go faster than planned).

He's on the list. He's a pretty big rework though, so it looks like he might be after Poppy. They generally do a bunch of smaller reworks leading up to a big one.
