So now that Deathfire's Grasp has been removed, how about Blade of the Ruined King's active?

Why, if we're going to remove Deathfire's Grasp for pigeon holing AP bursters into building a must-have item are we keeping the active nuke on Blade of the Ruined King when it pigeon holes Zed into a must-have item that makes him completely obnoxious and braindead easy?

If it made him completely obnoxious and brain dead easy he wouldn't be relegated to split pushing.

DFG's active was WAY stronger than Botrk.

DFG's active deals 15% of Maximum health in magic damage and AMPLIFIES damage onto the target by 20% for 4 seconds.

Botrk's Active deals 10% of maximum health in physical damage and slow the enemy/boost the speed of the user by 15% for 3 seconds.

15% vs 10% 20% damage amplifier v.s. speed boost/slow

DFG clearly has the Edge.

And about Zed. Can't you build Zhonya's? Dodge his skill shots? http://na.op.gg/statistics/champion/ More than half the time Zed goes into a game he loses :) (win rate 46.51% ranking 104 of the 123 champs)

BotRK also comes with a great unique passive of 8% current hp on-hit, something DFG doesnt have - so it balances - Zed hue meh damages - out.

I hate bork active. Always have. I doubt it will go anywhere, unfortunately.

I gotta disagree. Botrk's active was nowhere NEAR as strong as DFG. It's stats are also debatable not as good.

Or instead of nerfing a core item for many champions, they could nerf the actual problem. The champion. Look at the Lich Bane nerf. It was aimed to nerf one champion: Fizz. Instead, it ruined a lot of champions who relied on it, whom were already struggling.
