You literally have an ability that makes you invulnerable to all damage and it moves you while doing a substantial nuke/slowing. At least Fiora has to remain stationary for Riposte and she only gets the stun off if you try to disable her.

Fizz is a squishy melee champion dependent on basic attacks. These champions cannot survive in the wild and need intervention by Riot in order to save their species.
That goes flying out of the window when he can build tanky and still function, or blow you up within seconds. But when that's not the case, he needs E in order to stand a chance.
Between that and 
's passive shield..... they like saying things like "git gud", "rekt" or "out played"

Gotta admit, I agree with you man. I like to play Fizz for fun every now and then. But that's purely it because of how horridly unbalanced he is, I'm not that much of a dick to bring it into ranked for straight up Freelo, lol. Even if I go like 20-6 or something, I never act like I'm hot shit or tell people to "Get good". I hate those kind of people.
It's like Annie, new Garen, Mord, Yi, Xin or Darius. People just gonna abuse them until they get nerfed into the ground (Hopefully). Sure we need easier champs for a better entrance into the game for new players, sure I agree with that. But making their kits extremely cancerous and easy? That's not acceptable. But naturally it's just my opinion. But when a majority of the community constantly joke about how they hate Fizz and think he's broken? Might be something to that Riot. . . Just listen to your demographic for once, please.
Imho FIORA has the least counterplay of any champion. That stupid vital is almost always pointed right at her. There's really no cool down on it. She does basically all true damage percent max up and has great engage/chase/escape. I have yet to find a champion that counters her and beats her in lane (maybe I'm bad) in a teamfight it takes a concerted effort to eliminate her with plenty of CC. If they have any other moderately fed threat you're going to have a bad day.
You can't build to counter her. You can't win burst trades. You can't win sustained trades. She gets to choose when the trades happen. She's hard to CC. There is no limit to her scaling. That ult heal is just gross (i don't know why people don't just target the out of position player that's getting nuked in a teamfight that dies to just pop it for the heal.)
Honestly she makes DEVOURER jungles look like weaklings. Hell I've even seen tank FIORA do absurdly good.
all I can figure is Quinn beats her in lane, or maybe NASUS can win. IDK but when I see her in my games I whimper.
True Fizz is just disgusting and not fun to fight. The worst part of fizz is he can miss every untsrgeted ability and still kill a squishy if he maxed q. If he gets a little ahead he can turret dive poke you twice (taking no damage) and then kill you under turret.
Imho a good nerf for fizz would be making his E not block turret shots.
Fiora's reposte also blocks all incoming damage (including DoT's from what I've seen, unless I've just had reeeeeeeeeally bad luck with ignite against her hitting the last tick on a reposte). This also includes blocking Zed's ult mark. She also doesn't have to rely on hitting all of her weakspots in a teamfight, just the one - as long as her team is, you know, playing like an actual team, they're going to jump that champ and proc the heal off as soon as possible to ensure that not only is your team down one but that their team is basically still ship-shape and raring to go.
Fizz kills one person and is vulnerable to the hell on Earth for all assassins - the dreaded "everybody's piled on top of each other how do I actually kill somebody?" God forbid your team won't engage on that because if you have to lead the way you're not going to live the see the day.
