Did you have to nerf Lissandra at the same time you shifted the meta?
Lissandra went a bit crazy earlier in the year and was probably the single most dominant champion in the NA LCS but even when she was at her peak there was a lot of discussion on her and why the reason for her power was the meta favouring her so much. It was an assassin meta, which she does extremely well against. It was a meta with a horrendously nerfed Athene's Unholy Grail, which means her mana passive actually became worth having, and it was a meta that also loved having single target lockdown and burst (her specialty).
So she was too strong in the meta and she got nerfed. That's fair... for that meta. But now we have a meta where every team has at least one tank, but can have up to three tanks (and I saw one team with 5 tanks in challenger series yesterday). Assassins aren't kings anymore and Lissandra's niche as an assassin counter is gone. Athene's has been buffed to be playable, so Lissandra's mana sustain is less notable. Tanks/bruisers are real threats so Lissandra's single-target lockdown is the worst it's been in a long while: She can try kill the ADC/mage but she'll die to all of the tanks slowly melting her while she does that.
The whole meta has gone into reverse for her. Everything that was good about her before is bad and to complement that, she was nerfed. Before she became FOTM she had a 50% win rate with a 4.5% play rate. Now? 5.7% play rate (steadily falling, I imagine it'll go back to pre-FOTM levels) and a 47% win rate.
I'm not asking for radical buffs or anything (I know they won't happen any time this year) but it sucks that Lissandra being crazy in one meta means she'll probably go through several metas being kinda crap. Riot should be quicker to balance - she should have been nerfed quicker when she was too strong, and she should be being re-buffed right about now.
