Camille is not broken or overpowered.

Camille does true damage and that's basically her only damage dealing ability. Every other source of damage in her kit does not do that much in comparison to other champions. Also her second q all you have to do is move away from her and let it go on cooldown

Her passive has a cooldown. If she engages that is her prime time to fight. It only lasts 1.5 seconds and that's not a long time at all. Immidiatly after it goes on my cooldown she is vulnerable.

Her W is only to survive in lane and without it she would be backing every minute. This is useless in team fights or even a quick fight

Her dash is a skillshot so you can actually dodge the stun. Yes it's also a gap closer but if she misses you, you can kite her. Similarly to fizz e she is vulnerable when this is on cooldown.

Her ult is meant for a 1v1 duel. Just like jarvan. It's not a wall though. If she catches you by yourself you deserve to be killed by camille. That's what she is designed to do. Stay grouped up and camille will have a very hard time killing anything.

Camille is not op. Group up = win

Just because the community hates a champion does not make them overpowered. It takes camille a whole second longer to kill you than khazix or rengar. Would you rather fight a fed camille or a fed tryndamere? How about vi who can 1 shot you with her combo and you can't stun her. Hecarim who forces you to flash just by coming to your lane. Katarina? Seriously I'd rather go against a camille any day over a Katarina. You act like she can't be killed or like she's actually useful in team fight.

My problem with her is that they made this division between Divers and Slayers/Assassins being "Diver goes in and has tools to help them survive in the fray, but no real escape" and "Assassins go in on a priority target with their unrivaled mobility and have tricks up their sleeve to avoid damage and escape" and then they give her such high mobility and tools to avoid damage (E once maxed and Ult cast).

To make matters worse, they don't even own and acknowledge it, since they put her secondary as Tank... "Tanks excel in shrugging off incoming damage and focus on disrupting their enemies more than being significant damage threats themselves." hmmm.

On another note, I don't think she needs to have nearly every single steroid in the game somehow built into her kit. The W outer vs inner damage difference also needs to be sharper.

Maybe you should try playing her before you complain.

Camille ults you and she only has one ability vs all 4 of yours. She isn't going to w you that would be a waste. She isn't going to hookshot you because that would allow you to escape. All she had is her q. Take the first q then stun her/get away/slow her. All she has inside her ult is her auto attacks. You can't even say that's broken. Also if you wanna complain about her mobility try full cdr vi it's the same fucking thing.

I have played her and vs her, on Pbe, back when her Q2 crit true dmg. She's much better now than she was, but still not balanced.

I have no qualms with Fizz, or Vi once the jungle xp got toned down. Vi's Q doesn't auto-extend its range and have a super generous hitbox stun at the end of it. Vi loses out on a metric-ton of damage if she misses it, Camille doesn't if she misses E. Vi is also slowed and has to charge it. It can also be bodyblocked when trying to be used as an escape, while Camille's E1 just passes through units on the way to the wall. Due to it being a pull, Camille can even cast E while sitting in Cass miasma, grounded (tested that one). Pretty sure Vi can't.

Camille doesn't need to hookshot or W during the ult, she just stays and does dmg while she can, and if she starts getting piled she can E away at her leisure since its off cd quickly mid-game. Killing Camille doesn't even end the ult, who knows why that is.

I can understand the ult staying around thing, but everything else in her kit seems like its doing its job to me.

Yes, it's doing a job, but I don't think it's all needed. She'd be a very good champ even with a couple or even one of the excesses removed. It's padding like how Ekko used to slow the opponent while speeding himself up. He just didn't need both.

For Camille, do you actually think she needs all of this, in addition to what her kit visually shows opponents:

  • the bonus Att spd and range on E
  • the on-hit bonus dmg in ult
  • the untargettable during ult cast (not unstoppable, untargettable so she can avoid stuff)
  • bonus movespeed on Q cast
  • W damage %health on outer cone while the indicator suggests enemies should get closer to her to avoid 'something' (but still take hefty dmg).
  • heal on outer W cone

I could see taking the on-hit bonus dmg in ult but thats it. In all seriousness taking too much away from her kit would make her pretty useless and next to Mordekaiser

Don't even bring Mord into this D:< He's still patiently waiting for his VGU. If you want to compare something then use Azir or Kalista , because they had overloaded kits too. All we can do is just sit here hoping they don't temp balance Camille for pro play while awaiting Shyv-level changes for months while sitting in the gutter like they have.

Of course not all at once, but you don't think the free att spd starting while the opponent is stunned is any sort of problem? or the inner W dmg when the red-orange indicator suggests to move closer, or maybe the heal maybe shifting that over to the passive and bases stats?

Maybe the inner W damage should be almost nothing, but the attack speed is part of her combo. I still dont think that her W does any real damage unless you hit with the outer part. I really dont think shes all that broken. I see why people think she is but she doesnt do nearly as much damage as other champions.

Why is this thread even a thing?

Even in Diamonds, Camille has 72% ban rate while 82% in Masters, which really says something. Her overwhelming strength is not what only a Bronzie would complain about.

Clearly you've never seen a Camille hitting 3-4 targets with W lategame and healing a good chunk of her HP bar
