Sterak's Gauge Is Cancer And Really Needs Reworked

Basically, any champion that has the ability to 100-0 another SHOULD be 100-0'ing them. Items shouldn't be countering champions, champions should be countering champions. I don't know who thought this item was a good item to implement into the game but for me as a player I feel it's unfair when I purchase this item and I also feel like it's ridiculous when you are on the flip side and outplay really hard just for them to have a massive shield granted and escape by some luck of the draw. Another factor that really makes this item worse is that it's basically up anytime you want to engage as it has an EXTREMELY short cool down. Come on Riot, get real here.. this item is not healthy for League of Legends itself and has no place in the game with what it does currently. This item is like "Oh I'm a squishy that's supposed to die to assassins, let's buy this item so the assassin can't even fulfill their role for the rest of the game and has to find someone else to kill".

If anything this item should be changed to be more like MAW so that it doesn't shield all damage, only physical damage. If it was changed in that manner at least there would be a clearly defined reason for purchasing this item i.e "I'm laning vs Talon and the enemy team is a full AD comp". Right now all you do is rush this item any time you're scared that you could die to an enemies burst on an AD champion and you can rest assured the enemy will be on tilt 10 different times before the game is over.

This item isn't just frustrating to deal with, it breaks the entire balance of what certain champions are supposed to be doing and makes it so it's that much harder to actually play the way you are supposed to.

Really hope to see some changes with this item in the near future.
