I really miss ranked team and don't think flex was a good replacement (poll)

Everytime I look back at how flex became a thing, I miss old ranked team. Because ranked team had much more of a competitive/teamwork aspect than flex does. You had to find a team, play with them, you got a team tag that was nice to wear.

Flex basically casualized ranked team and absolutely killed off any competitive aspect league of legends has. The only real competitiveness is once you're in extremely high elo you start looking for teams, but that concerns almost nobody. Like, soloQ isn't really the true League of Legends for me. The real league of legends, team game, started off with ranked team. Done with the soloQ "i gotta carry 1v9" mentality, much more of a team and strategic aspect (even though that kinda narrowed town the viable picks but w/e)

All in all, I think Flex was a huge mistake. You wanna play with friends, go in normal games. Flex is basically normal games with a league system that prevents you to play with some people. Almost nobody even takes it seriously. Also there's like a huge difference if you're playing with 3 or less people or if you're playing with 5 people, yet it shares the same MMR.

I would like to collect general opinion about flex VS ranked team and if you guys were as disappointed as I was by flex. Yes I know, it's very late to have this post, since flex has been implemented a while ago and I guess it's here to stay, but I'd still like to have a small poll to see what people think of it.
