Cinderhulk doesn't benefit Sion's Soul Furnace Bonus Health

I guess I really can't complain because that would have been too stronk and probably lead to a nerf on the big guy.

But still, Riot should advertise these kinds of stealth limitations because I'm guessing there will be Sion players that even take Smite top thinking that they can get all this bonus health from Cinderhulk and Soul Furnace.

I keep seeing people say this but I'm pretty sure they are wrong... I just played a custom game as Sion. I jungled for a bit and had 202 bonus health from soul furnace. I went back to base and bought Cinderhulk. The item itself gives 350 health. 25% of 350 is 87.5. 25% of 202 is 50.5. 50.5 + 87.5 = 138. Now I actually had a bonus 147 off the 25% bonus from Cinderhulk because of runes and masteries but it was most definately counting the soul furnace bonus health. HOWEVER! I did notice that as I walked out of base and continued jungling that the tooltip on the item was extremely slow to update! For example: I kill gromp and gain ~14 health (runes + masteries + cinderhulk bonus). I look at cinder hulk tooltip which reads 147 both before and after gromp kill even though I know for a fact by looking at my health bar I gained 10 health from soul furnace + bonus. So I continue to clear the jungle gaining health as I go, looking at cinderhulk after each camp. What I found was that cinderhulk did keep track of the bonus health, the tooltip on it just updated randomly and sporadically. Sometimes it was right and sometimes it lagged. I also found that if I went home and sold it and re-bought it it would always update and show the correct number.

Honestly, I think it might've been an oversight. It's been awhile since I've played sion, but I'm pretty sure he got the bonus with item 3068, so I see no reason why he wouldn't with cinderhulk.

Well what he means, if I read what you said right, why doesn't Cinderhulk's +25% Bonus health work on his passive health from his shield.

Sorry, no, I didn't mean his shield. I meant the bonus health he gets from enemy kills. Even though that is technically bonus health he doesn't seem to get an additional 25% for it when he has Cinderhulk.

Not sure if it's an oversight but I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentionally left out as that can add up to a huge amount of extra health otherwise.
