It's official: Fervor of Battle is unbelievably bad.

Takes longer to stack, doesn't stack from abilities, is basically nonexistent early game, and is weaker than old fervor even when fully stacked unless you're a full crit champ with IE. And even then, it's barely better. I have a hard time justifying taking this mastery on** anyone** now, even champs that should love it like Aatrox Yasuo FioraMasterYi . And old Fervor users like Lucian Ezreal? Don't even bother.

Free AD is still free AD innit?

Compared to the alternatives, it's blatantly not worth it. Every champ I took fervor on before, I take warlords or Thunderlords on now.

I figured the only ADC that could even think about using new Fervor would be Lucian... is it really that bad on him, too?

It's not terrible, but Warlord's is way more impactful in the early game.

I've always liked Warlord's Bloodlust on Aatrox more than Fervor but yea..it's basically useless to most people now.

The only time I would ever advocate Warlords in Aatrox is if you plan to build Crit on him, which I admittedly often do. Other than that, your autos simply don't do enough damage to make Warlords worth it.

Am I the only one who goes Resolve into Grasp????

Not worth it since the nerfs. The only time Grasp is better than the alternatives on Aatrox is pre lvl 4, and after that it's significantly worse, especially if you rush damage on Aatrox like you should.

I personally use Warlord's with item 3153 item 3074 into tank on Aatrox.

I've had some success on it with Tryndamere, but he might be an exception.

I don't know why you would need a justification for Yasuo, but I understand for the rest.

not on brusiers that relies on attack speed

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

well its still great because there is nothing better to compare it too but i guess that ad is better for crit builders.

buff AD values?

not sure what else can be done for it other than a flat buff. but at least then we'd have a mastery that's stronger for melee DPS

the old fervor was ridiculously overpowered.

the only straight nerf this current fervor got is that it takes slightly longer to stack. the difference between 60 ad and 112 on hit damage is, that those 60 ad benefit from lifesteal and factor into abilities.

every champion who has ad scaling on hit damage in his kit, like MasterYi or Kayle should only feel a small difference in damage, and gets some extra sustain out of it with lifesteal and omnivamp.

the mastery needed to be nerfed, but overall how bad of a nerf it was varies from champion to champion. it was more of a nerf for Irelia than it was for MasterYi for example.

next patch theyre buffing item 3124 which partially compensates for the fervor nerf for champions who dedicate themsleves to on hit builds.

please dont ask for fervor to get buffed back. the mastery was bad. it was absolutely terrible for this game in its overpowered state and probably mostly responsible for the bruiser assassin builds in season 6.

lets wait what the rageblade buffs do. then possibly buff on-hit champions directly as they need it.

Irelia has huge AD ratios in her kit...fervor is way better on her than on Yi.

remove all keustones is the way to go, evwrytime they make a new keystone it is always broken as fuck, then they nerf it and it becomes useless as fuck.
