And cementing them as part of the meta only makes LoL a worse game.
LoL doesn't need dedicated bitches and most people don't enjoy being a bitch. So why are they one of the 5 pillars of the meta?

If you don't want a support on your team then make a team and don't use one. Otherwise you're just having a temper tantrum over a non-issue.
because they are generous, and they clearly wanted a way to encourage people to switch to one of their competitors :D
