What's with Ekko?

So why can Ekko have mobility and shields, but Kassadin can't have either? I understand it's Ekko's kit, but at least put a mana cost on that ult. It's insanely broken, and maybe it's just how I feel, but I think a majority of his kit is just not thought out that well.

On a side note, I am complaining, because I've seen the balancing team do well in the past, and that's why I'm making this complain thread, but keep up the good work. Also good job on that Ashe rework, glad she got it.

Ekko can die. Old Kassadin could not.

Old kass was a pick or ban champ, that would 1v5 an entire team and not be touched due to his R. Anyone who thinks Leblanc is bad, never had to face Kassadin in his prime.

Not the Old, OLD Kassadin that had a silence, and yes he did need a nerf, but the one that got touched for no reason. He was able to die then, and is able to die now, but they made his bursty assassin potential weaker, but made Ekko's extremely strong. Ekko can engage and disengage better than Kassadin, not to mention burst better than Kassadin, and his ult costs no mana.

Fair enough, nerf the 130% ap scaling then. Or make the base damage weaker, and not scale to 500.

Seem like an arrogant cunt. I do understand that, but in balancing terms it's just not okay.

Kassadin's Ult is mobility. And his Q gives him a shield without having to land any sort of skillshot.

Since you bothered to type on this old post. I'll respond. Kassadin's ult is made so he can get to the back of a team fight. If he's able to do that he needs to either A. Kill everyone so he doesn't die (which no champion should be able to unless extremely fed) or B. Survive long enough (Which isn't that easy considering you have to wait 4 or 5 seconds before leaving the fight, and you can easily get CC'd)

Ekko on the other hand has many escapes and engages to be able to team fight. Hence the post why can't Kassadin have mobility and a shield, and Ekko can.

On the other topic of skill shots. Not everything needs to be a skill shot. This game has went into a game from strategy to "skill" you probably don't remember or something, but there were little to no skill shots back then, and this game revolved around a lot of teamwork, and good play making.

I'd also like to watch you win as Kassadin or get really good, because the fact that he has no skill shots means nothing. Playing a champion that is practically borderline useless is hard to do. Ekko is easy compared to Kassadin.
