It's funny apparently I get reported all the time, but I've never been ban

I'm really starting to think that the people who report me don't recognize that I'm not doing anything bannable, but conversely I have gotten feedback that when I report these people, because generally I only report people who say that they're going to report me, they do get ban.

Generally I include "frivolous abuse of the reporting system", in the additional details.

Idk, it's just weird to me that apparently people are willing to do bannable things, in response to me doing non-bannable things that they personally don't understand or dislike.

Yeah, league has a community problem, but these kind of elitist types who think that their sensibilities are part of the ToS have become more prevalent as this game has developed. I can't tell if riot is just appealing some particular mindset that does both, or if riot has no fault in this and this is just the natural progression of a title.

That said, I don't get this same kind of arrogance from other cooperative games I've played. So there must be something different going on here.

So you're proud of the fact that you're either so consistently annoying or terrible to the point where your team mates report you? Are you stupid?

No, it's just that there's a lot of unwarranted elitism in this game that really breeds a lot of bad behaviors, which have been deemed ban worthy. Yet this same elitists apparently view the reporting system as a weapon to beat people over the head with.

Like people get so bent out of shape over not being able to force people into playing the game exactly how they'd feel comfortable with them playing the game. Now, I do blame riot for much of this, because they decided that they needed absolute control over how the game was played, for a few reasons that i'm not going to get into, so instead of outright kicking players out of the game for "not playing correctly", they redesigned it so that players would be significantly harder punished for not playing the game "correctly". This has lead to many players feeling entitled to have people play the game in a particular way, because riot has inadvertently acted as a biased arbiter for these players through design decisions, but they recognize how suicidal it would be to directly enforcing their design through outright player bans.

If you want to be sure that everyone on your team will play exactly to your sensibilities, then you should be playing with friends. The people who aren't going to conform to the standards of every player on their team, shouldn't be the ones being told to create a 5 man just do play the game how they wish.
